Absolutely beyond compare- believe the reviews!

5 of 5
You must absolutely believe all the reviews for this house. The pictures DO NOT do it justice at all. I've stayed in some wonderful houses all over Europe and the US, and not one of them had a view as stunning as this one. You truly have 180 degree views of the coast, and it is a GORGEOUS coastline. There are so many different elements and textures, and the sky and light changes so often, you will never get bored looking at it. And one thing I didn't expect was the absolute picture perfection of the garden. The hydrangeas were blooming while we were there, and they were just breathtaking. We ate breakfast on the deck every day in the sunshine (another pleasant surprise- the house is built such that there is little to no wind on the deck!) and watch the dolphins swim back and forth. We even spotted the resident seal a few times! Sean was kind enough to loan my husband some of his fishing tackle, and he and the kids would spend hours fishing off the rocks. One night the ocean was literally boiling with a school of fish and my husband was able to catch fish after fish- big ones, too! He was so thrilled. The pier is so cool- I loved going down there and just looking at the clear water, sea stars, etc. And the blackberries were ripe during our stay, so we picked bowl after bowl right in the yard and made a delicious cobbler. The house itself is also very comfortable, with every single amenity you could ever think of needing. Nora and Sean have literally thought of everything, and you never feel like you're staying in a rental property. You are truly staying in a home here. The kitchen is a galley style, but not small at all. It's very well organized and easy to cook in. Even has Le Creuset stuff, and real china! No Ikea ware in this house! Wifi and TV work great. Every room has a toilet and sink, which is nice. Family bathroom is large and nice. Beds are comfortable with nice linens. Many, many things to see near the house, but as others have said, you're reluctant to leave because the view here is just that good! I would recommend this house to ANYONE looking to have a wonderful holiday in this area. The owners are beyond nice, and just blew us away with their hospitality. Do not hesitate to book this property- it is truly amazing.

Great property in quiet cove

5 of 5
Tastefully decorated and dressed bungalow in a lovely quiet cove 15 minutes drive from Clonakility. Fantastic views to the front of the property of Ballinglanna cove and well equipped bungalow. Our family (3 adults and 2 kids (4 & 6 yrs) had a great time relaxing at the property and visiting the local areas (Inchydoney Beach was a highlight). The property could benefit from fencing to the front patio area as the drop of the small lawned area is very steep and quite a concern for smaller children. A pub in walking distance would have been perfect,. But aside from that this is a first class base and property from which to explore West Cork
