Going to Santa Claus World

4 of 5
This location is prime for a trip to Santa Claus World- now known as Holiday World. The rooms are larger than the pictures make them appear. There was more than enough room for my husband, myself, and three children- ages 2, 2, and 3. Right outside is a barn with many cows that the kids absolutely adored! Be warned that if you go in the summer, and are not use to the country, the cow smell might surprise you at first.... but having the cows outside the windows was completely worth it. We also went for a few walks up the gravel road and found a turtle and there were tons of frogs in the yard. Because the kids are so young, we spent a lot of time at the house. We had all of the meals at the house. There was a grocery store about 5-10 minutes away, so we could get all we needed. I have to include that we have stayed in VRBO places before and this was the first one that provided laundry detergent, dish washing liquid and detergent, and coffee. It is the small things that make a place special. I would also like to include that we had a few minor glitches in our stay, but the owners were above and beyond accommodating. They were so kind and thoughtful to all of our needs. We had an open line of communication after our stay. For that, I am grateful. I would recommend this property to anyone. We will return to this property for our next Santa Claus trip. Thank you for all of your kindness.

An Amazing Spot for a Company Retreat

5 of 5
My company retreat was at Tyner Pond Farm, and we had a blast. It was an easy drive from Indianapolis, and the area was beautiful! Chandra and Kara were such a great help through the planning process as well. The house was beautiful, spacious, and had everything we needed. We walked around the farm to see chicks, piglets and a few farm cats. When we were still at the farmhouse we were brainstorming occasions to come back for. I think you will have some repeat customers with our crowd! Thank you Tyner Pond Farm!
