Nice place to relax

5 of 5
We stayed through the week of Thanksgiving. We enjoyed this cabin, because it is just that a cabin. Relaxing, a fireplace insert wood stove, we used it with the door open so that we could hear the wood crackle. We asked to stay an additional night, Claudia was accommodating, thank you for that Claudia. If you are looking to relax, this is the place. All the amenities of home, better than booking a hotel for that long. A place to do your laundry, watch TV at the end of the day or just enjoy the fire.

Sisters Getaway

5 of 5
My sisters and I stayed four nights for our annual Sisters Getaway and had a great time. The house is lovely, filled with light, very clean, and had plenty of room for the six of us. The kitchen had all the equipment we needed to cook our meals and large enough for several cooks to work side by side. We used the screened porch for evening card games by bringing in two chairs from kitchen. The fire pit had plenty of seating around it and the fire wood was next to the house. We walked over to feed carrots to the horses at the stable almost every day, which was a treat for us "city girls". We had no problems with parking all our cars, since the driveway is the road that leads to the house. We also liked that although there are houses nearby, there is enough privacy that we felt comfortable laughing and singing around the fire and on the porch until late into the evening. We loved our days at the beach, since parking was so close, and chairs and umbrellas were provided. We were pleasantly surprised by how quiet the beach was, even on a warm, sunny weekend in August. We stopped at Al's Grocery (off 12) on our way into town and found everything on our grocery list. We were especially impressed with their large wine department. We drove into Michigan to have great burgers at Redamaks, before spending a few hours at The Four Winds Casino on our one rainy day. A couple of us stopped at The Stateline Blueberry farm before heading home, and we had a lot of fun picking our own berries. We would definitely return to this property again. Claudia was wonderful to work with, and answered my emails and calls quickly. We all felt that we were getting a great house, with plenty of opportunities for fun nearby, for a great price.
