Great furnished rental!

5 of 5
My fiancé and I rented this apartment for several months. The owners, Tracey and Tony, were wonderful to deal with on every level. They were responsive to all of our requests and questions. The unit itself was perfect for our needs as a professional couple looking for a temporary furnished apartment far from home. The apartment and furnishings were clean, modern, and well-maintained. The kitchen has newer appliances and is stocked for basic every day cooking needs. During our stay, Tony added a brand new 47 inch flatscreen TV to the living room and moved the smaller flatscreen TV to the bedroom. The building association upgraded its internet and cable service - Internet is very fast, and there is a DVR, too! River City itself is an interesting and convenient place to live. The building has 24x7 security guards who are friendly and keep a close eye on the premises. During the summer, there is an outdoor rooftop patio for enjoying the city scenes and river activity. When we were leaving, we learned that the convenience store in the basement was renovating to add a sandwich shop and cafe, which should be a wonderful addition to River City. The neighborhood (South Loop and Printers Row) has some strong qualities as well. Target and Whole Foods are less than a 1/2 mile away. There are are a handful of inexpensive restaurants within easy walking distance. I found XSport Fitness Center on State Street to be an adequate exercise facility for the price. And of course, the South Loop provides easy access to all the wonderful things about Chicago, like the Art Institute and Millennium Park. In summary, I would not hesitate to work with Tracey and Tony again if I were looking for an affordable, modern rental in downtown Chicago.

Amazing views- fabulous location- great comfort

5 of 5
My husband and I have stayed at some of Nicole's other properties in Chicago before and were excited to try out her newest condo on my recent trip. We loved it! The building is right on Lake Michigan, and the condo has gorgeous views of the lake and harbor. My husband enjoyed being able to walk out of the building and hop right on the jogging path along the lake. The decor is just as it appears in the pictures - new and modern - and makes good use of the studio space. Even for a studio, it's very roomy with space to move around. I especially enjoyed the sitting area with the electric fireplace overlooking the lake. The kitchen was recently re-done, and it's fully stocked with cooking materials (something I always look for in a short-term stay). The bathroom was also re-done and features a separate dressing/vanity room in between the main room and bathing area, so multiple people can get ready in privacy, another huge plus for a studio layout. Just like before, Nicole was wonderful at keeping in touch and providing clear information for check-in, as well as the remainder of my stay. She really goes above and beyond to explain the city, public transportation, and current happenings. It makes traveling so easy. We look forward to staying with Nicole again in the future!

I found a gem of a condo

5 of 5
This condo had everything I needed to make my Chicago trip comfortable and enjoyable. I loved the location - walked to restaurants nearby. The express bus made it easy to zip down to the river and other south locations. The host Nicole was extremely helpful in giving me suggestions. I was traveling with two friends and they had meetings to attend so it was nice to get all the recommendations of places nearby- for me the butterfly museum was a highlight - and just a short walk away. The condo is very clean, near and well stocked . Hope to return in the summer.
