Heaven on Earth!

5 of 5
We have given ourselves the gift of this getaway 4 times and just scheduled our 5th. Every year we plan a week to lose ourselves in the beauty, scenery, and the surroundings of this magical place. The "cabin" is not really a "cabin", but a luxuriously peaceful space and our home away from home. We only gave it 5 stars because they don't list 6 as an option. We so look forward to our next visit... Teresa and Mark W.

Fabulous Summer Visit

5 of 5
The Cottage was absolutely perfect for our family of 6 adults and 2 boys ages 6 and 11. It is immaculate, very spacious, beautifully decorated and furnished, and equipped with everything we needed and more. The guys loved the pool table and badminton, and my husband and I enjoyed our morning walks to the lakefront. We enjoyed geocaching on Schweitzer Mountain and riding the gondola to the top, City Beach, the winery and farmers market, kayaking on Bottle Bay, Silverwood, Bonners Ferry, Coeur d'Alene and more. Being from an area with very hot and humid summers, we wanted to take full advantage of the cool, dry outdoors! We prepared all of our dinners in The Cottage except for the last night when we went to Forty One South which was excellent. We've rented homes through VRBO/Homeaway several times, and The Cottage is at the very top of the list. The manager is extremely helpful and informative. I would recommend it without hesitation.

Fabulous

5 of 5
Should really be kept a secret! Lots of room for three families, one couple, and everyone's ski stuff. Didn't eat out, but very close to shopping and a hop skip the the skip hill. Was able to chow down a super breakfast and still be at the hill by 9:00 am. No friends on powder days! The home was fresh and clean, had everything needed to make our selves at home. Enjoyed the hot tub! Already thinking next ski season!
