                        INCREDIBLE HOSTS!!!

                        5 of 5
The cabin was charming and perfect for our family of four (kids 9 and 7). My son and wife got summer colds the day before we arrived so we spent most of our time doing low energy activities. We drove up in the mountains west of the lake. Up at the top, we'd park and walk a bit and take pictures and picnic. The weather had been dry and the dirt road was in fair shape. We also took advantage of the canoe for ease. We brought our own card table and played a ton of games each night inside as the weather was chilly in early June. This particular vacation turned out to be one of those comedic family vacations full of mishaps for us. Two things in particular really demonstrated the hospitality of Tom and Roberta. With my son sick and running a good fever, Roberta was very concerned and frequently asked if there was anything we needed. When we took him into the clinic in Salmon, the doctor took nearly 25 minutes from his 'booked' schedule to talk to us and double check on our son. Classy. Another issue, the Williams Lake community was updating their water system during our stay. We were notified by everyone (Tom, a construction crewman, a person on a walk) that the water would be off for an hour one mid-morning so it never affected us at all. The next night, the water was turned off unexpectedly. The only inconvenience, we left dirty dishes in the sink for 20 minutes. I told Tom about it and he went into high gear trying to take care of everything. He first brought up 10 gallons of drinking water. When he didn't find the issue with the water line, he called around and got help from a neighbor to get it going again. You know you're in good hands when unforeseen things happen and you still rate the vacation the best one you've had in years. Thank you so much Tom and Roberta for a providing us a week of the most happy memories.

LOVELY COZY CABIN OFF THE BEATEN TRACK

                        5 of 5
We had an amazing time at this cozy cabin. It's exactly the type of place that I love – slightly off the beaten track but close enough to town to get a great meal, lovingly decorated, comfortable, and with a fantastic kitchen for cooking a few meals at 'home'. Communication with the owners was also smooth and easy. We really couldn't have asked for better. Thanks guys!

                        GREAT VACATION

                        5 of 5
We spent 9 great days at the cabin. It was peaceful, relaxing and the fishing was great. My wife caught a 22" rainbow trout, and we got over 20 others. The lake was like glass most days, and almost exclusively ours. It is a private lake and the neighbors are really nice people. The best part of the trip was the serenity. The hospitality of our hosts was a real plus. We highly recommend it to anyone.
