A great 3 night stay.....

5 of 5
We stayed three nights at the cabin and were totally delighted with the whole experience. Steve and Diana met us in Bonners and escorted us to the cabin where we were given the tour. A large book provided a guide to the area--it listed the many activities nearby. The cabin provided all the comforts of home, complete with TV and internet! Cell service was not available but a phone was available for use. We fished a little in the river outside and at some of the area lakes. We had a campfire every night, and the wood stove inside kept the house toasty when needed. Steve and Diana were readily available to answer any questions before and after we had booked the cabin. We look forward to a return visit to the Moyie River cabin.

A true getaway

5 of 5
The moment we pulled up to the gate and drove down the 1/4 mile "driveway" we knew this was what we were looking for. The cabin and property are better then the pictures. It was hard to drag ourselves off the comfortable back porch with a stunning view of the surrounding mountains. However we did get out hiking on the numerous trails as the property backs up to a National Forest. The owners were kind and helpful.

Beautiful cabin!

5 of 5
The cabin was immaculate upon arrival! Our family enjoyed a wonderful week here. The grounds and flowers were breathtaking. We saw little wildlife but many beautiful butterflies! Had fun photographing the butterflies. The kitchen was well-stocked and there were many books and games to be enjoyed. The river was enjoyed by all! We brought our canoe and tubes so we had lots of fun going down the Moyie River. Although most areas, in August, the water is too shallow for a canoe. We enjoyed a storm while we were there...loved, loved the thunder, lightning and rain (So. California people can't enjoy it often). The croquet, bocci and horseshoes were lots of fun also. The fishing at Robinson Lake was fun and we caught fish! We saw the bald eagle Marilyn had mentioned we look for each morning and evening. The sandwiches at the Mennonite Bakery were great, as well. Don't miss buying some of their bread and jellies! Marilyn was very prompt in answering any questions or concerns we had. We took an afternoon drive to Kimberley, B.C. Beautiful drive. Enjoyed the best pizza we've had in years at Stonefire Pizzaria. DON'T MISS IT!
