This house was warm and cozy, well apportioned and appointed, and easy to settle into for our week in Iceland. If we are ever able to return to Iceland, we will try to stay there again. We made day trips to Thingvellir, the Sneafellsnes peninsular, and Reykjavik, and enjoyed the beach and coast nearby. We ate wonderfully well at Hafith Blaa near the inlet and the pizza place right around the corner from the house. There's a grocery store in town as well as gas stations. If we'd stayed longer we would have visited the pool and hot tub two blocks away. Stefan the owner was very kind and thoughtful, sent us information on nearby attractions before we came, met us at the house, and even had a lovely bowl of fruit on the table when we arrived. We had a wonderful time in Iceland and the house was the warm and welcoming centerpiece.
