Amazing location in an amazing city

5 of 5
We were so happy to have found a flat in central Budapest that had everything we needed; however, once arrived, we realized it had even more to offer. The location was perfect - walking distance to everything (but that didn't stop us from taking the metro or trams). The flat was quiet, the shower was great and the ceiling height was incredible. Bed was very comfortable, kitchen allowed us good breakfasts and late night snacks! Judit was always available before, during and afterward, which made us very comfortable. Having a taxi ride arranged to and from the airport also reduced any worry. She recommended The Strudel House which we just enjoyed on our last day and wished we'd gone there before then. We would strongly recommend this flat for its location, cleanliness and sense of comfort. Thank you for an amazing stay in Budapest.

Perfect Location

5 of 5
This flat was in a very good location, just off the pedestrian way. We just took the metro line down from the train station and had no difficulty in finding it, but one should have a cell phone, it would be easier than an Ipad. As Canadians, we cannot travel with a cell phone due to huge fees, so a bit of a problem for times, not too much though. The flat is large and the kitchen and bath very nice. We did not need heat or air because of perfect weather. We could not figure out the fancy coffee maker though and did not know where to buy that kind of coffee, so we bought regular paper filters and regular coffee and made due. Marino, you need a small tea pot for us tea drinkers and 2 more wine glasses, that is all. Kitchen is very, very nice. This flat is very very close to any kind of food you would ever need to buy. Market just around the corner and a gourmet market for great wine just down the pedestrian walk. We used the public transit because ALL public transit is TOTALLY FREE for anyone over the age of 65, just show proof of age. We loved staying here and would recommend this flat to a couple.

Wonderful apartment in incredible location

4 of 5
The location of the apartment close to St Stephen cathedral is wonderful. We could step out of the door and have many restaurants close at hand. We loved sitting in the large square in front of the cathedral with locals as well as visitors. We were a little late from the train station but Judit waited for us at the apartment, explained the ins and outs of it and gave us some great recommendations. Don't miss the gelato in the form of a rose! The apartment is roomy, kitchen well equipped. there is a washing machine in the bathroom and a rack for drying. The only drawbacks - the mezzanine bedroom has very steep stairs best suited to an agile person, and there is no elevator in the building. The second toilet was out of order for our entire stay - but this was probably due to someone putting something other than toilet paper in it. Highlights of our stay: House of Terror - the headquarters of the Arrow Cross fascists and then the communist secret police. The Szecheny Baths - spent several hours there, bring a swimsuit. Central Market, Jewish Quarter, Castle, National Gallery, Vasarely Museum, Memento Park (fascinating and worth the extra effort to get there) and so many more. We filled 6 days and loved every moment. Public transportation is good - need a good transportation map so that you can work metro, buses and trams. Thank you Judit, this was a vacation to remember. One toilet was out of order.
