Amazing location in an amazing city

5 of 5
We were so happy to have found a flat in central Budapest that had everything we needed; however, once arrived, we realized it had even more to offer. The location was perfect - walking distance to everything (but that didn't stop us from taking the metro or trams). The flat was quiet, the shower was great and the ceiling height was incredible. Bed was very comfortable, kitchen allowed us good breakfasts and late night snacks! Judit was always available before, during and afterward, which made us very comfortable. Having a taxi ride arranged to and from the airport also reduced any worry. She recommended The Strudel House which we just enjoyed on our last day and wished we'd gone there before then. We would strongly recommend this flat for its location, cleanliness and sense of comfort. Thank you for an amazing stay in Budapest.

Great spot, helpful owner, super value!

We just completed our visit to Budapest with our family of four, and this Gellert Hill apartment was the perfect launching point. Nice roomy apartment gave all of us plenty of space, great view of the baths, and easy access to Budapest's simple (and cheap) public transportation, great little wine bar (ask for Garbo at Palack), and our family's favorite pizza joint (Marcello's). We changed both our arrival and departure dates at the last minute, but Anita and Tunde were most accommodating. The stairs are formidable, but made us feel less guilty about missing the gym for a week! If we ever come back to Budapest, Anita will be our first call so that we can rent her apartment again.

Fun and convenient

5 of 5
It´s nice to come to a place where you feel at home. The booking process was seemless, we arrived late but the hosts were there waiting and took time to answer all our questions. There is a restaurant called For Sale around the corner where we ate at 1AM, delicious! In the mornings, we sometimes ate at their bed and breakfast called Butterfly Home but often we shopped fresh at the Great Market Hall and cooked the local delicacies at home. The apartment gets beautiful light all day and we had wine on the porch or tee downstairs at the Japanese tee garden. They also offer discounted tour tickets and can get tickets to the Opera. The bedding was great, overall the place is furnished well with charming fixtures and neat pictures. It is clear that the service with attention to detail and nonpretentious vibe make this place stand out from the cookie cutter hotels and rentals. Stay here, you will love it!
