Peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.

5 of 5
This newer unit of the owners numerous units was very very nice. You can tell that time has been taken to see all the great little details in their work in this rental and the property itself. The owner was very nice and helpful with everything throughout my stay. Would stay here or one of the other rentals he has to offer in a heartbeat.

A Perfect Homebase in Kohala-Waimea

5 of 5
The Garden Hale was just perfect for our needs. There were just the two of us - though the cottage could sleep more - and we stayed for 9 nights. I was attending a conference at one of the big hotels on the Kohala Coast, and it took exactly 12 minutes to get there from the Garden Hale. We enjoyed the cottage very much. The cottage has a comfortable bed, a fully equipped kitchen, AND access to washer, dryer, and clothesline. From the cottage, we could explore up onto the saddle of the island near the volcanoes or get down to great snorkeling in a matter of minutes. The cool night air in Waimea makes for great sleeping. Matthew and his garden workers made us so welcome - and we had fresh eggs from their chickens every day! Very nice. We would stay here again and recommend highly to others.

Amazing property!

5 of 5
The house is beautiful and the views are astounding. It was the perfect spot for our group of friends to celebrate our birthdays. It was close enough to Waimea that we were able to pick up anything we needed, not to mention take advantage of some great little places ( fish tacos at the Big Island Brewhaus - YUM). We will be back for sure!
