Paradise It Was!

5 of 5
I cant say enough about the fantastic hospitality we experienced at Paradise Found. Everything about the suite was designed to allow us to relax and decompress! You could actually show up with flip flops and shorts and not need another thing the whole time you were there! (aside from some groceries and wine from Bobby's down the street of course) The beach was spectacular and only a short walk away. Beach chairs, towels and even a cooler stood ready upon our arrival! The owners are great, and they went out of their way to make our stay, and my birthday, extra special. The place is very clean, spacious and literally looks like it was just built. The views from the cool wrap around lanai are incredible and we enjoyed having our breakfast outside as the sun came up. I can still hear the birds at our bedroom window, ahhh..I wish I was back there! Thanks guys..for such a memorable visit to Oahu! See you again soon!

Perfect location, perfect vacation!

5 of 5
This my 3rd time using vrbo & I will say this is the best house so far! Being from Oahu, but living in LA for the past 20 yrs, staying here is like paradise within paradise. It's perfectly situated on a stretch of beach close enough to town but on the edge of country. Laycie is the best that I have worked with from start to finish & knows the true meaning of the aloha spirt. Mike & Jeanne are wonderful as well. They took us on their catamaran on a flawless day near rabbit island that was priceless. The house is amazing & was perfect for 4 including an 80 & 4 yr old. The house is gated for ease of mind & has everything you need from BBQ, jacuzzi, snorkel gear, fishing poles, etc. you can fish of the pier (something you will not find any where else). If you expect a spotless posh setting, this may not be for you & you should stay at a hotel. Occasionally you will get a visit from geckos, maybe a roach or some ants but it's part of Hawaii. Just kept the kitchen clean, trash emptied & food put away & you will enjoy paradise in its true form. Think of it as a cabin. You are in the country after all :) the house is as close to the ocean as you can get. When your in the house, open all the windows & you will have the ocean breeze & hear the waves all night. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you & aloha Mike, Jeanne & Laycie.

Great Location

4 of 5
Our family stayed here for a few days near the beginning of July. We chose it because it was near a Luau that we wanted to attend. It was a great surprise to realize how fantastic the beach was. The beach was so close and so empty. It was easy to get to snorkeling and hiking, and all of the fun stuff that we wanted to do without even going near Honolulu. People commented that it is not fancy, which is true, but it did have everything we needed. I would give it a 5, except that it got very hot during the early evening inside. The bedrooms have window AC units, but the main area does not, and it was unbearable to be indoors, so cooking and eating dinner inside in the summer could not happen. It might be more comfortable in the Winter. Overall, it was a great little house to hang out in for a few days. We all enjoyed eating the mangos from the tree in the yard. They were delicious!
