PARADISE

5 of 5
How do you describe paradise?? If there were enough words to describe paradise they would apply to this property. We are a family 5 which included a 16 month old. The house was perfect for our family. The little guy had plenty of room to run back and forth through the living area and he thought the spa was his own private pool. We all loved having our own pool and it was always clean and inviting. We all appreciated the privacy and quietness of this property. The views from the upper deck were amazing! All the amenities that one would need were on the property. We have stayed at condos on other vacations but this house is the best by far! The owner was more than accommodating and was always available to answer our questions. My family and I hope to return to this property in the near future. It was the BEST vacation ever!

GREAT PLACE TO STAY!

5 of 5
This house helped to make our Maui vacation the best ever! We met with our kids and their families from three different states for our 35th wedding anniversary and had a great time! The house was exactly as advertised - very large and clean. The 11 of us were very comfortable and had everything we needed during our stay. There were plenty of kitchen utensils, pots, pans, and dishes for the meals we took turns making - saving us a lot of $ on food. Also lots of storage containers for leftovers. My daughter brought her Costco card, which saved us even more. There were plenty of towels, etc. in the bathrooms, as well as plenty of beach towels for the pool. The pool was perfect for our needs because it doesn't have a "deep end" so we were able to teach our grandkids how to swim. We found plenty of useful floaties, etc. in the garage to use both in the pool and at the beach. Originally we were a little worried about the lack of air conditioning in some of the rooms, considering our trip was at the end of May, but between the island breezes and the ceiling fans, we did fine. The pickier among us were given the bedrooms with the A/Cs, which were the ones in the loft and on the bottom floor. The location was very convenient to just about everything on the island, and the GPS from the car rental company found the house pretty easily. It's located at the end of the street, so no problems with traffic noises - in fact the only "noises" we heard were from all the birds that live in the trees surrounding the property (and a neighbor who was fixing up his house). A nice break from city sounds, though. Phil and Sharon were very helpful and friendly, cutting us two bunches of bananas right from their tree the day we arrived - delicious! We spent a morning snorkeling from a catamaran, went to a luau, and my husband flew an Ultralight glider in Hana. Many in our group were unable to handle the winding road to Hana - despite the beautiful scenery along the way - due to car sickness. We definitely recommend making the drive upcountry to the Haleakala national park, though those roads wind, too (not as badly, though). Only $10 per car, and worth the drive once you get to the top! We would definitely stay in this house again!

PARADISE AND HEAVEN TOGETHER!

5 of 5
We sincerely enjoyed our stay in this incredible home for a few weeks. It is truly is a magnificent rental and in the perfect location just a short walk from the beach. This place exceeded our expectations and we found it to be an exceptional value. My wife and I set an afternoon aside to relax at The Grand Wailea Hotel and Spa per the owner’s recommendation, and this is a stop not to be missed. We also drove upcountry and around the larger side of the island. We are world travelers yet we find that Maui has always has something new to offered us. Our stay in this beautiful home was absolutely everything we were expecting and more! We will be returning to this lovely place again in the future and we have already spoken with the owners to reserve our dates for next year….we were actually thinking that we would like to keep this our little secret but you know how it is when sometimes a secret is just to wonderful not to share. This is a perfect place and if you have the time see it all or just continue to travel back again and again and again…as we have done. A special thanks once again to our gracious host for lending us your beautiful residence. See you next year! Austin, Maryanne and Guests
