We spent five weeks at this wonderful villa. The location is fantastic, walking distance to A-Bay, restaurants, shopping, groceries and of course the Kolea Beach Club. The villa itself was beyond our expectations. The new furnishings were great, the outdoor mini-kitchen was well used, and the dual master suites were a wonderful retreat after a day of fun in the sun. As others have said, the photos are just a hint at how nice this villa is. Christopher, the owner, answered all of our questions promptly while in the planning stages for our trip. He and his staff provided great support during our stay. For example, making morning smoothies and afternoon umbrella drinks, we burned out a blender. Christopher was there with a new, in the box blender within an hour. Great service! We made good use of the golf discount. Christopher had supplied a letter of introduction to the Pro Shop and they treated us like members every time we played. For you golfers, both courses were great, the Kings is a little more wide open and the Beach Course more challenging. We enjoyed a special anniversary meal at the Kamuela Provision Company at the Hilton and a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner at Merriman's in Waimea. Also tried the newly opened Napua Restaurant at Mauna Lani which was a treat. "A" Bay, a short walk from the villa, is a relaxing beach with calm waters and all the beach rental toys you could imagine. We drove to Beach 69 near Puako for great snorkeling and to Hapuna Beach for boogie boarding and fun in the surf. The property at Kolea is magnificent and is constantly being maintained and a pleasure to walk around in the morning. Don't miss the complimentary Kona coffee every morning at the Beach Club. We enjoyed our stay, loved the villa, appreciated the outstanding service from Christopher and staff, and look forward to returning in the near future.
