Great potential but could use a little ...

4 of 5
Rating Details: I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was clean. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great potential but could use a little sprucing up. Very nice location and building design. Good view. Beautiful pool and restaurant. Quality of exercise equipment exaggerated in description. Condo was basically clean but carpet was really dirty, spots everywhere. Maid didn't wash throw rugs in our bathroom (dirty). Some dirty walls. Barley enough furniture in living rm., not enough light to read by. Dirty torn pillows on living rm. chairs. Need to leave more soap if you expect people to start a wash of towels.

Aloha!

5 of 5
It was my families 1st time visiting the Big Island. We were in town for my brother's wedding. The condo was perfect for the 5 of us. Very spacious, clean including a beautiful location. We were steps away from the swimming pool, but far enough away not to hear all the noise. The owners were very responsive to all our questions. I would suggest you rent a car while staying her. Waikoloa Village has a store and a good amount of shopping. If you want to save money, I suggest you go to Kona and purchase food from Target, Costco or Kmart. A frozen pizza in the village cost $12.99 and in Kona the same item was $6.99 at Target. My family already said they would like to stay here again for our next visit back to the island.

Beautiful Villa

5 of 5
My husband and I stayed at this luxury villa for a week. It is absolutely the best and is one of the better accommodations we have stayed at. It is in a good location, and although 2 story, the entrance is on the ground floor. The gated villa complex is immaculately maintained, not crowded, is very safe and quiet. The pool was my favorite spot. It is well cared for, is quite large and seems to be heated. We spent lots of time there. The adjacent spa is very nice too. The villa itself is ULTRA clean and well decorated. The photos show it exactly as it is. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils and dishes. We only used the master bedroom but I can say the bed is VERY comfortable. The master bathroom is quite spacious with plenty of closet space and towels. There is a very efficient washer and dryer with plenty of laundry soap. The villa has a nice view of the golf course with 2 lanais to sit, eat, drink coffee or sip a cold drink. If the neighbors were home, we never heard or saw them. The owners are easy to deal with and are very responsive if you have questions, comments, etc. I believe you will not be disappointed staying here. I highly recommend this villa to my friends, relatives and other adults. If we go back to the Big Island, we will definitely want to stay there again. In regards to beaches and shopping, Hapuna beach is excellent and a short drive away. The King and Queens market places are close by for shopping. We like to eat in so we bought most of our food at Costco before checking into the Villa. Be sure and visit the Lava Lava Bar on the beach in Waikoloa. What a fun place to sit and watch the sunset, have snacks and cocktails. Also, I highly recommend the swim with the Mantra Ray excursion out of south Kona. It is beyond fabulous. Mahalo to Dana and Stephen for sharing their villa with us. We wish we could have stayed longer.
