Very nice place to stay

5 of 5
This was a very comfortable and clean place to spend part of our time in Honolulu. Aaron and Deanna must travel a lot themselves because they know how to make the guests staying at their property feel very welcome and comfortable. They left little treats that we enjoyed with the coffee, hot chocolate and tea that was provided. The one time that I had to contact Deanna about coffee supplies, she responded very quickly and fulfilled my request promptly. Having beach equipment available is a great bonus as we usually end up buying at least one beach chair and towel of our own while vacationing at Waikiki which we cannot take with us on our flight home. The hotel has a very nice pool/sundeck that we used frequently during our 4 day stay. We were so impressed with the room that we showed it to other friends and family that were in Honolulu at the same time. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Honolulu. Thank you for making this vacation rental available to us! Tom and Karen

A great place to stay!

5 of 5
This condo had everything we needed to make breakfast, lunch and dinner when we chose to. Safeway was a 20 min. walk away and 2 ABC stores about 2 min. away, prices were definitely better at Safeway. The A/C worked well and was quiet and with 2 elevators there was never a long wait. Wifi also worked well. The fridge is a little small but there really was enough space for the few groceries and drinks that we brought in. The freezer worked well and there were two ice machines in the building, one in the basement laundry room and one on the rooftop to get free ice. It had a great, unobstructed view of the beach and Diamond Head from the lanai and the rooftop deck was a great place to sit and watch the sun go down while sipping a Pina Colada. It was exactly as the pictures showed, clean and fresh. There were beach towels and 2 beach chairs, not too comfortable though... Boogie boards would have been fun to use but not provided. We brought a small foldable lunch cooler in our luggage and made picnic lunches to take with us. Mornings were a bit noisy starting at about 6 am because of delivery trucks and garbage trucks and there was always a bit of road noise when the doors were open but the view more than made up for it. We were up and about early anyway not wanting to waste a minute of our short vacation. That early I could see people taking flash pictures on top of Diamond Head :) The condo is very close to buses (2-3 min. walk) which we used to go to Pearl Harbour (~1hr 20min), Hanauma Bay (~40 min.) and Diamond Head (10 min.) We did rent a car one day and found free parking at the Waikiki Shell parking lot on Montserrat Ave which is just a 5-7 min. walk to the condo. Our favourite restaurant was Shorebird in the Outrigger Reef Hotel, 20 min. walk. We had pancakes at Teddy's on the 1st floor of the building one morning, HUGE portions and tasty. Alexei emailed us a couple of times to make sure all was well and had refunded our damage deposit before we even reached the airport to fly out! We would definitely recommend this condo and would love to go back again! Dan and Leslie Victoria, B.C. Canada
