        Clean, Updated, Perfect for Two

        5 of 5
The Waikiki Grand is in an excellent location, across the street from the beach and minutes away from bars and restaurants. The Condo itself was very clean, cozy, and fit all of our needs. We really enjoyed having the fridge and stove top to make breakfast in the morning, all kitchen items you might need are included. The condo also includes a blanket, beach towels, and snorkeling masks (no flippers) which we used almost every day on our trip. I was worried about the reviews mentioning the loud birds upstairs, but we found them to be very muted and actually enjoyed them. The bed was comfortable, and there was plenty of storage space for our things. We bought a one week pass for the Banyan Hotel for $80 (cash only), and really liked not having to worry about finding parking for the rest of the week. You can drive in and out easily and leave the car there as long as you want. There is a padlock on the door that you enter a code in to get into the room, which we enjoyed as we didn't have to worry about taking a key to the beach, or gathering a key when we arrived. We rarely used the balcony as the view was just okay, but the sundeck on the top floor has a beautiful view of diamond head and Waikiki beach. We took our breakfast there a few times, and enjoyed drinks in the evening there as well. The hallways of the hotel are a little dingy, but the room itself is very nice and updated.
