Great memories at a great vacation home!

5 of 5
We created some amazing family memories at this A+ North Shore home. Our 6 grandkids (ages 4 to 11) played for hours in the pool. The 7 adults enjoyed the Tiki bar-- we recorded the World Series for late night viewing. Being right on the beach with easy access from the home gave us multiple opportunities for body surfing, boogie boarding, paddle boarding and strolls along the beach to see the sea turtles. With two yards, we had plenty of space for our family soccer games and activities. The home has multiple living areas and we used all of them...two kitchens, multiple large tables in various spaces for meals and games, open doors to the pool and patio areas, and quiet spaces for reading or down time. The kids claimed the huge tv room as their own for hanging out and sleeping. The adults enjoyed the sounds of the ocean from the bedrooms which had very comfortable beds. We appreciated all the bath and beach towels and still made good use of the washer and dryer. We rented a few of the available beach "toys"...boogie boards, paddle boards, snorkel equipment and had fun with those on "our" beach as well as nearby Waimea Bay Beach and "Sharks Cove." We took the short drives to the Polynesian Cultural Center, Waimea Valley and the Dole Plantation and also enjoyed the food trucks and M. Matsumoto shave ice in Haleiwa. It was also an easy drive to Diamond Head, Honolulu and Waikiki. With all the Oahu and North Shore attractions available, we actually did spend most of our time at our wonderful beach home and would love to have stayed even longer than a week. Finally, we were especially happy with the our local contact, John, who was very helpful and responsive to our questions and requests. We felt "at home" in this North Shore home and would happily recommend it for its location, layout, and amenities.
