DREAMS REALLY DO COME TRUE!!

5 of 5
Can words be found to adequately describe and capture the essence of PURE MAGIC & ENCHANTMENT? Our family's 10 day stay was just such an experience! Two and a half yrs of dreams, wishes, & planning came to fruition this month. From the moment of our arrival and John and Lina's warm Aloha greeting as our hosts, we celebrated delight, joy, laughter and memory making. The entire property FAR EXCEEDED our expectations!! You can read the description of all it has to offer; yet living amid it, using all the thoughtfully selected and provided amenities you find yourself awe struck at times! With 4 young grandsons the amount of beach towel usage and subsequent laundry use was just ONE blessing we offered thanks for during our stay. We NEVER ate a meal out, (did enjoy ice cream & shave ice treat times(!)), (shop Costco coming from the airport!) the grill was used frequently, both refrig/freezers were stuffed, ice maker soooo appreciated, beds super comfy, wondrous linen supplies, gorgeous furnishings throughout! Very well maintained. We felt very pampered!! The boys thought "going to the movies" in the downstairs "theatre" was wonderful! The availability of the rental equipment proved to be priceless. New kayaking enthusiasts were created with pre-dawn outings each morning and early evening. Snorkeling amid sea turtles and colorful tropical fish are highlights for a lifetime! Soccer games, pool play, lizard hunting/watching, bicycling, boogie board riding, sand castle building...at days end 4 young boys had crammed in countless adventures. A great selection to choose from! Even experiencing the 2 hurricanes added to our treasured moments. John and Jason safely boarded us in, then quickly removed them when they could. (mahalo Dr C for your concern and thoughtfulness in this!). John and Lina: simply a fantastic couple, we could call them ANYTIME with a question or problem.., always helpful, competent, caring, friendly and joys to be with! Their knowledge/insight of their island and people added to our appreciation/joy. The park-like, extensive grounds are gloriously planted and cared for, the flowers afforded me some outstanding photo moments! Sitting topside on the balcony, poolside under the gazebo or even beach-chairing it out on the beach you are swept away by the physical grandeur and beauty of this location..., add the sound of the trade winds singing in concert with the surf and rustling coconut fronds,.. you KNOW you are in paradise!

Beautiful beachfront house on the North Shore

5 of 5
Look no further than this house. This has to be the best deal of all the houses we looked at, which were many. The location of this house was perfect. Right on the ocean in a quiet residential neighborhood on a very quiet street. 5 minutes from historic Haleiwa. 10-15 minutes from all of the popular beaches on the North Shore...Sunset, Sharks Cove, Pipeline, Turtle, Waimea just to name a few. We were a group of 6 (4 adults, 2 kids) and the house was plenty large for all of us. It was very clean and had every amenity we needed. The blender was going constantly making 3-4 batches of Pina Coladas each day. The landscaping around the house was perfect. Large yard for the kids to play in when they weren't in the ocean. The outdoor shower was a hit to wash off all of the sand from the beach. The kids loved the boogie boards to ride on. No need to go into busy "touristy" Waikiki or Honolulu. The North Shore has it all. Thank you Jill for the smooth process of renting this house.

Nice ocean view condo for 2-3 people

4 of 5
We stayed there in August, when hot weather and high humidity can be a real problem for some people because the entire building is not designed for an air conditioning. This is actually a one bedroom unit with 2 full baths. The sliding Shoji panels in a leaving room make a privacy screen and so-called "second" ocean view room. This condo can fit 6 persons but it will be beyond what is comfortable. It would be perfect for 2-3 people. The condo is well equipped, the kitchen has everything you need to prepare your own food. Very good kitchen appliances and Keurig coffeemaker. The charcoal BBQ grill is outside on the ground, just a few yards from the ocean. There are two other high end Weber BBQ grills but you need to figure out where to get gas tanks for them. Ocean was warmer here than on Turtle beach and Waimea Bay (maybe because of currents). The owner of this condo was very nice and helpful. All my emails and questions were answered quickly. This definitely could be a 5 star place but I took off 1/2 for lack of A/C and 1/2 for the size of this condo.
