Spectacular home

Incredible views. Perfect location on the point. Amazing sunsets. Awesome spot to catch the waves and to watch the surfers. Great yard. Quiet little gated community. House was very clean and well maintained. Managers/owners were great to work with and were very helpful during our stay. Booking process was quick and easy. The decks were amazing and we even saw some whales during our stay. The winter swells were incredible and we loved the sounds of the roaring waves at night. For the price this is an amazing value and I would say that it is even nicer than the pictures show. I wish we had known about this spot years ago and we are now very excited to come again and we are already planning our next trip out. It can't come soon enough! Mahalo for a memorable vacation in all ways.

The Perfect Getaway

5 of 5
My girlfriend and I stayed here on our spring break in 2011 (actually a year before posted date) our senior year of college. We were looking for a place with surf and somewhere to get away from the crowds, and we hit the jackpot. The bungalow is set overlooking Sunset Beach with stunning views. When the waves are big enough (they were HUGE when we went), you can open the screen windows and hear them as you sleep. The caretakers of this property heightened our experience, making this place a gem. John, the owner, lives near the property and was s o humble. He set us up with a giant quiver of surfboards to choose from, and bikes for traveling and sightseeing. We were initially worried about getting around to restaurants and shopping areas, but "da bus" as they call it, is an excellent form of public transit, with a bus stop at the end of the street! This made traveling to Haleiwa a nightly staple for dinner. Dana and I still dream of this place. Thank you to John and the other staff on the property for making this a truly once in a lifetime experience (Although I hope we could experience it again one day!). I could not recommend this place any more highly! Thank you for all the great memories! -Tray and Dana
