Something we will always cherish - Excellent and amazing!! 5 stars, most definitely.

5 of 5
From start to finish, our stay was easy, worry-free, relaxed, comfortable and memorable. Sean and Adrianna were like best friends to us once the reservation was made and they never lost sight of our trip, comfort and needs. They were always available to answer questions/concerns prior to and during our stay at the condo, that made our family trip even more enjoyable. The Klan consisted of 4 adults and 14 month old twins. The baby gear rental company had delivered the baby items we ordered, prior to our arrival, which made their "mommy" feel at ease. The views from the condo are absolutely incredible and the weather was fantastic. We ate out on the lanai almost every night/BBQ'd and planned our next day's adventure. The accommodations were perfect for us and we loved the fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer and spare den area off the kitchen that the twins slept in. There was nothing that we were lacking during our stay. The grounds of Puu Poa Condos were exceptional, easy access to pool and parking. Every outing we did with the family was less than a half hour away and the local grocery store and shopping center was less than 5 minutes away, BIG PLUS!! We did drive to the Costco the first day and loaded up for our 9 day stay which I would recommend doing!! We felt extremely safe, leaving windows/lanais open all night being on the 3rd floor, and our shoes and strollers left out at the front door were never disturbed - that is the Hawaiian way. Other renters at the community were so nice, and when one guest departs, you might hear a knock at your door, offering you their perishables goods!! It was great that the condo came equipped with coolers, snorkeling gear, beach chairs/towels/umbrellas and hats, that we used almost everyday. To summarize, leave your cares/make-up/blow dryers at home and just CHILL!! Mahalo and hope to come back some day.

Loved this place!!!

5 of 5
I almost didn't book this place due to the lack of reviews! So glad I kept the reservation. What can I say, but WOW!!! We arrived in the evening and picked up our keys at our car rental location, it worked out perfectly with the packet of directions and keys to the place. We woke up the next morning and took stock of what we needed to pick up for groceries and supplies. We didn't need anything but food. The place had some laundry soap, kitchen soap, a little cleaning supplies, coffee filters, paper towels, garbage bags, and sandwich bags to last week. They also supplied beach towels, boogie boards, snorkel gear for 4 (no fins though), beach umbrella and toys for little ones. We had a few geckos but that didn't bother us at all. We were a family of four that included teenagers, and they rated it a 5 as well. Plenty of room for everyone to lounge, hang in rooms, and of course BBQ on the electric grill outside. BRING YOUR MOSQUITO REPELLENT. All of us but the husband got eaten alive. :) The unit is on the ground floor which we liked as we could walk out to the bluff in the mornings and in the evenings at sunset. The neighbors upstairs were a bit noisy in the mornings..got up at 5 every morning, but were fairly quiet during the day. We loved this property and would come back here again for sure! We didn't go to the pool at all, but I went to check out the new Pizza place and the menu looked decent. We used Kauai Vacation Rentals which was great to work with, just keep in mind that if you change your dates even for one day, you will be charged a 75.00 change fee. :(

Stunning views of the Pacific

5 of 5
We recently spent 10 days in this unit and another in Puu Poa celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary with our family and were very pleased with the accommodations. We have stayed in this complex before so we knew the Bali Hai views would be outstanding. The unit was clean and well furnished with plenty of seating for the seven of us for meals. If you are staying on the North End Puu Poa is one of the best locations on the island. You have access to the St Regis Hotel that is steps away. A nice place to have a drink at the bar and enjoy the spectacular view. The Princeville shopping complex is located conveniently nearby as is the lovely village of Hanalei. We snorkeled at the St Regis beach a walk away and enjoyed sitting there watching the surfers. I would encourage anyone planning on dining in the Princeville or Hanalei area to select your restaurants early and get reservations. Our only issue with this unit was the lack of a good gas grill. There was a small electric grill but it was not adequate to cook a big meal on.
