The perfect condo in paradise

5 of 5
My family went to Kauai to celebrate my father's retirement this Summer. My husband and I stayed in this condo and it was so lovely. We loved everything about it. The breezes that come through are divine and the little patio feels secluded and private. Every morning we would sit outside with a cup of coffee and watch the birds while listening to the lovely Hawaiian music they had in their CD player. My other family members stayed in other condos on the same grounds, and ours was by far the best. Clean, well decorated, well equipped, just amazing. Hopefully we will be back to stay again and to enjoy the peace and tropical breezes of Kauai.

What a great place to stay

5 of 5
Overall a very nice place and the pictures on the website are true to how it looks. We did not have any issues during our stay so didn't have to contact Matt or the rental company he uses for any fixes etc. Everything was great! We used the rental company to book our luau night at the Sheraton as well as the Island Helicopters tour. The Luau was outside and had a good time. The helicopter tour was a fantastic way to see the island with a stop at a waterfall filmed in Jurassic Park. The condo's furnishings, bathrooms and kitchen are updated and comfortable. Matt has done a great job on ensuring that a visitor's stay is as relaxing as possible. It truly is a tranquility base. Location wise it was fantastic to be close to the pool as those that stayed on the lanai could watch the rest of us in the pool. We did the short walk to baby beach as our morning routine. (followed up by the tasty acai bowls from Aloha Aina Juce Bar). The grounds at poipu kai are well kept and it seemed like someone sweeps up all the fallen flowers etc almost every day. We were sad to have to come home and would not hesitate to stay here again!

Amazing View and Comfy Room

5 of 5
We stayed here for 8 nights and enjoyed every night! Like most reviews I read everyone, including us spent the mornings and nights on the balcony. There was something super relaxing and wonderful about starting and ending days there. I would recommend this place over any we saw in Kauai. The price can not be beat, and compared to what we saw at the Hyatt this place was much more relaxed and uncrowded. Pros: Well stocked with dishes, bedding, towels, and extras. Perfect view of the ocean, day and night Super comfy bed Great water pressure in shower Clean and welcoming space Great location to restaurants and the beach Plenty of closet and storage space Entertaining neighbors (you can hear everything so be careful) Quite area, uncrowded pool Clean pool Only con would be no air conditioning, although the fans helped. Opening the windows and having the fans on while we were there helped keep the heat off. I would say we noticed a lot of places did not have an air conditioner, even restaurants so I would say get used to it :) Tips: Bring an underwater camera, bug spray, and water shoes. If you go just about anywhere these could come in handy. Stay here and you will not regret it!
