Great North Shore Location

4 of 5
My family, including two adult boys, stayed for 7 days in this unit. The unit is located in a two building complex which is on a great beach which has a reef. We snorkeled here often in the evening after our outings during the day and saw several turtles and many fish. The unit is comfortable and we really appreciated having two bathrooms with 4 adults in the unit. Our boys are tall, both over 6' so the futon was a bit narrow and short for them but it was OK. The living room does get hot in the evenings but the overhead and floor fans do help. The AC in the bedroom was appreciated. The town of Haleiwa is fun - favorite places to eat were Aloha General Store (shaved ice), Killer Tacos, the shrimp trucks, Luibuenos (Mexican). Stu was very helpful and quickly came over to fix a problem we had with the TV and also promptly refunded the security deposit. I think it would be helpful though to have some instructions in the room on how to lower the futon and how to use the TV with the various remotes. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and would definately stay here again.

Perfect home for a Hawaiian vacation!

5 of 5
My husband and I rented the condo for just over a week for our visit to Waikiki for our sister's vow renewal and our own babymoon. And I'm so glad we did! The location is excellent - easy to park in the garage and avoid most Waikiki traffic yet so close to walk to everything including the beach, the "main drag" of Kalakaua Ave. and tons of restaurants. Melissa was excellent in communicating with us before and after our trip to iron out payments and the check-in/check-out process. Everything went smoothly and the condo itself was just as nice as it looks in the pictures. We will definitely be looking to rent this unit again for our next trip to Oahu!

Wish we would've stayed longer......

4 of 5
My wife and I spent one week at this condo. It is exactly as described and shown in the pics. The unit was very clean and nicely remodeled. We had no complaints. You will feel like a resident of the north shore. It's about a mile from downtown Haleiwa, in a relatively quiet area. We spent 2 or 3 days on the beach there (snorkeling was great - sea turtles, lots of fish, and not crowded). There are several locals that walk the beach in the morning and are very friendly. The other days we went to Sunset beach, Waimea Bay, Sharks Cove, and a few other spots on the North Shore (all a within a short drive with lots of scenery). If you're going to dinner in Haleiwa, go early. Certain restaurants close at 6pm, but there are several that stay open later. The condo has a coffee maker, buy some coffee from the Coffee gallery too (freshly ground and grown on one of the islands), rent a paddleboard (they will deliver to the condo). Stay away from Honolulu (too much traffic!!!). The condo has 2 nice beach chairs, umbrella, and a cooler. Shower has great water pressure and you can open the louvers on both ends of the condo and get a nice breeze. FYI, Matsumoto's is worth the wait! I could go on, but go experience it and see for yourself.
