Third Time is a Charm

5 of 5
After a terrible first night arriving on the island, our previous contract with another owner had to be terminated due to unclean accommodations. With pure luck, Denise and her husband was able to accommodate the four of us (husband, my mom and uncle whom were visiting from Japan) at the very last minute. We had previously stayed in Ko Olina Beach Towers on our last two visits and I learned my lesson, always go with the first choice, to stay in Ko Olina Beach Towers. We very much appreciated the hospitality that Denise provided and to have my elderly mother finally enjoy her visit in Hawaii was just the uplifting moment. The condo had all the amenities we wanted and more. Plus it was insanely clean and to finally be able to get a good night's rest on a comfortable, clean bedding was a dream come true. We will definitely be coming back in next couple of months and will be staying in one of their properties again. Mahalo and Kokua.

Awesome location, comfortable house, lovely hosts!

5 of 5
We are a family of four with two young children (4 mo and 2!) and it is always tough finding suitable accommodation. The location of the rental was perfect - just a short walk to the beach and a couple of small restaurants. A quick 5 min drive was the downtown area with 2 big grocery stores, lots of restaurants, and other necessities. The place itself was very comfortable and well maintained - the beds and linens were very good quality. The hosts were very friendly and even let us borrow some baby stuff. We felt comfortable letter our toddler roam around the backyard since it was enclosed. We used the BBQ a lot! When we had any issues (all minor), Tom responded promptly and fixed the issue! Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better vacation rental for what we paid!

Away From The Hustle & Bustle

5 of 5
We needed accommodation for 1 month during renovations and wanted to stay out of the busy Waikiki/Honolulu area and this place was perfect for our needs. Our hosts Mati & Tom were delightful and greeted us with a warm Aloha and beautiful Leis. Inside we found a welcome basket with local coffee and treats and we felt like we truly had arrived in Hawaii. Mati & Tom were very courteous allowing us our privacy but always at hand to help if needed. They have a wealth of local knowledge and can recommend the best of things to do on Oahu especially the neighboring areas where there is world class snorkeling, beaches, hiking and restaurants to enjoy within easy driving distance. The accommodation was thoughtfully decorated in Hawaiian style with a full size stove and refrigerator which is great for an extended stay. Free Wifi and parking were great and the private entrance was most convenient. We spent many balmy nights enjoying the beautiful lanai with its comfortable furnishings and handy gas grill. There are two bathrooms and the main shower is spacious with a picture window with a view of the garden! There was plenty of room with the kitchen and bedroom being in separate rooms and there is lots of storage space to keep luggage and beach gear. We thoroughly enjoyed our month at Mati & Tom's unique hideaway rental. It is highly recommended for those looking for a less touristy vacation and wanting to enjoy the feeling of actually living in Hawaii.
