Cute condo, Awesome view!!!

5 of 5
Like others have said, this is not a 5 star resort, but it's just what we were looking for. Cute condo, on the beach, away from the craziness of Honolulu, stocked with beach chairs, towels and snorkel gear. With that said, it's a bit of a drive away from any tourist type activity you may want to do. We drove at least 45 minutes to an hour each day to our destination. There's a few good restaurants around, it is cheaper to eat out than to cook. I was hoping to cook more since this property had a kitchen, but found that buying groceries at the local market was quite expensive. I recommend shopping in a bigger town before checking into the condo, the local markets have limited stock at a higher price. Also recommend buying laundry soap pods and dryer sheets at home (we remembered the laundry soap but forgot about the dryer sheets). The kitchen is stocked with bare essentials as far as dishes and cutlery, very few spices and not much else. This wasn't an issue for us as we ate out majority of the time. Kaya's Market is a minute walk away and carries all forgotten essentials and has a small kitchen in the back, they serve good, home cooked meals at a decent price. The polynesian cultural center is close and it's a must see! Overall, we loved the condo, highly recommend staying here for relaxation and rest!

Amazing Unit

4 of 5
The pictures shown is exactly what you get, an amazing unit, home away from home. This unit was perfect, close walk to beaches at Turtle Bay Resort. 2 Foodlands one in Laie and one in Pupukea. Rented a car for the 10 day stay and toured the entire island of Oahu with the exception of the Waianae side of the island. This was my third visit to the island and wanted to stay away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki. This whole area is very quiet and away from all that commercial Waikiki. I never met Trish as there was absolutely no issue's with the unit and this being my third time to the island I would have no questions to ask her. I did email her and told her that the unit was amazing and she responded back immediately that she was glad we liked it. My only issue was having to leave and return to the cold, blistery winter up in Canada. We all had a wonderful vacation, the unit was exactly what we expected and when I go back in a few years again hopefully, I can stay here again.

WOW! Great place for families

5 of 5
This was our first trip to hawaii and we couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. Property was clean and cozy. Beds were comfy. We used the kayak and watched the sunrise each morning from our bed. The kids ran out each morning in pj's to play in their ocean back yard. Cottage neighbors are other residential homes, so location was nice and quiet. We had a wonderful private beach to swim in, gentle enough for the kids. Found a few fish swimming around. It was great. I would highly recommend this place for families. BBQ'd outside once, but got a bit too windy in the evening to use the fire pit. Locals told us summer winds are much calmer. Overall really great experience.
