The Perfect Hawaiian Home... a dream!

5 of 5
We stayed at this property for 10 days in October and words can't describe how amazing it was. We had a group of 7 friends (good amount for the house!) take on Maui for some much needed R&R. A 30 minute drive from the airport, tucked behind a beautiful wooden gate, sat a fabulous beach front home that screamed, "vacation!" We had a packed schedule of events, hikes, luau's, adventures, etc... but the best part of each day was coming back to this home. Every night we enjoyed pina colada's on the patio and soaked up the sunsets. I made sure that we kept a few afternoons free so we could take advantage of the giant grassy yard! Equipped with lawn chairs, croquet, and abundant sunshine... it was paradise! The home itself was like walking into a Home & Gardens "Hawaii addition" magazine... new appliances (well received by someone who loves to cook), plenty of seating both inside and on the deck, and a tiki hut ceiling that was made even more picturesque by a couple of the gecko's that managed to sneak in. The entire wall facing the ocean is a series of sliding doors that open up to create the ideal indoor/outdoor setting. This small community is walking distance to local shops, restaurants, bars, grocery stores (we preferred Times which is a block away), and the drugstore. Tips: Purchase a pair of water shoes at CostCo or Longs as the beach in front of the house is a little too rocky for galavanting in without a some cushion. Rent a stand up paddle board or kayak from down the street and you're bound to see turtles right out front. Mosquitos came out at night so if you're likely to get bit, keep a bottle of OFF nearby. The studio downstairs is great for a couple or someone who likes a little more privacy. Water noodles are awesome for taking out and lounging in the ocean... with a drink in hand. Take a sunset photo EVERY night! It helps ease the pain when you have to go back home. Enjoy!

Paradise Found

5 of 5
Thank you Robert for allowing us to stay at your wonderful condo in Kihei during September. The booking process was hassle free and you provided us with a lot of great information. The condo was in the perfect location for early walks on the beach and great sunsets every evening. The reef just off the beach was an amazing place to see sea turtles everyday too! We were all very comfortable in the condo and enjoyed having the beach amenities to use during our stay. The property was very well maintained and we loved the bar-b-q grills and pool!! Being able to eat the fresh bananas, lemons and limes from the property was an extra benefit as well. I enjoyed being able to walk along the beach to the Farmer's Market every week for fresh produce too. My dogs were happy to walk the beach or along the road up to the nearby beach park. The condo was clean and having a washer and dryer was perfect. We cooked at the condo a lot because we love to grill out. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare a meal and then some! Even though it was hot during our stay, the condo stayed remarkably cool due to the trade winds that flow through the condo. Having the ceiling fans on and the extra fans throughout the condo to use really helped keep the place somewhat cool during the HOT days and perfect at night! We did have to close the windows and start the AC a couple of times due to the noise from the yard men who came on Wednesdays. My husband was trying to work and on Wednesdays he would be on conference calls during most of the day. I would recommend staying at Robert's condo for your trip to Maui. It is perfectly stocked with amenities throughout. We even enjoyed having the Hawaiian CDs to play on the CD player!!! Just wish I would have had more time to read at least one of the many books you had at the condo. Maybe next time!!!! Mahalo Robert from the Girl Scout at heart:))

We loved our stay, it was amazing!

The Kula estate was amazing! We were greeted with a lovely welcome basket of island treats and a kitchen stocked with snacks and other food items. It is extremely spacious and was more than adequate for our family. It is a quiet location, not too close to other houses, and the perfect place to reach tourist destinations like Haleakala, Hana Highway, and great restaurants and shops in Makawao and Paia. The kitchen is well-equipped with many supplies and appliances). The bathrooms come stocked with high-quality soaps and shampoos. The house also had a lot of practical conveniences like laundry facilities and great internet. Our family enjoyed spending time in the common areas and on the gigantic front porch. Our only regret about the house was that we had to leave so soon! We could have stayed for weeks.
