We arrived in early April to a most beautiful condo at Napili Shores. The condo was very pristine, thoughtfully furnished, with a wonderful view of the ocean. Anyone who loves to cook will be pleasantly surprised by the well equipped kitchen with the easy to clean stainless steel pots and pans. Imagine fixing a yummy fresh fish dinner~ with a nice glass of wine, sitting on the lanai, with the melodic sound of ocean waves, the palm trees swaying in the breeze and the beautiful blue water as your view!
We snorkeled with the sea turtles and saw a wonderful array of exotic fish. Guess they aren't exotic for Hawaii ;). The whales were still migrating so we went on a catamaran that took us from Kaanapali beach north, near Napili. There were over 50 sightings and 3 breachings. Upon our return we dined at Maui Fish & Pasta. Days later returned to try Hula Grill and Lelanis- all were great! We also dined at Merrimans, and SanSei and had drinks at the Ritz. And not to be missed was Lahaina- we had lots of shoppings, with Captain Jack's as a good outdoor lunch spot. Lots to explore there. And don't miss a day trip to Wailea-beautiful! Maui and Napili Shores is a place that will provide fond memories and become a "do-over"!!!!!
As a bonus, the owners, Marlene and Geoff, went out of their way to ensure everything was perfect. Mahalo!
