Our room was great, thank you to Billy the owner/ manager for all the little extra's, he even called to make sure all was okay with our check in then once we had returned home, who does that now a days! Our room had a larger fridge which was great for us as we hit Costco a few times! Breakfasts after a great sleep in a very comfy king bed with fresh papaya, pineapple, coconut were so enjoyable sitting on our private lani overlooking the pools,. The staff at KBR the friendliest, thanks Michalena for all the great info. We were never disappointed, great food at the resort and live nightly music too! It was our first time to Kauai beautiful island lots to see and do even on the rainy days,.
" Gaylords " (exceptional food and service) at the Kilohana Plantation & I'll never forget the Koloa Rum tour , if you love rum don't miss out on the best rum and great taste tour! Great food in Kapaa at Verde (Mexican) mmm, mahimahi taco's, were to die for the Olympic Cafe fish wrap and fish and chips. Thanks Dan for Out of this world, THE best ice cream/gelato at Tropical Dreams.
In Poipu, the Beach House for lunch I had the best fish burger ever, and the best snorkeling was right there beside the Beach House too!
I also have to mention the hand made soaps in Hawaii our the best!!! I have sensitive skin/ eczema and their soaps are fabulous . In Ka'pa a from the Garden Isle Bath and Body my favs are the Shea and Hemp butter soap, Coco Mango and their Coco Mac body cream is so hydrating, great pre/aft too much sun!!!
The "Noni" farm tour was very informative and interesting well worth your time, fantastic info and products!
The best of all was the helicopter tour with Blue Hawaiian. We decided to book after we arrived according to the weather which resulted in a great sunny day. Remember the island does have he wettest spot on earth and we didn't want to miss anything . It also gave us a lay of the land to plan our day trips.... we will be back!!!
