“Definitely Stay Here!"

5 of 5
You are probably reading this review right now trying to decide, “where should I stay while staying in Kona.” Believe me when I say STAY HERE! Stop looking! If available, reserve your dates! This condo is over the top gorgeous and super clean. I felt like I was staying in a Hawaiian model home. The cabinets, tile, lighting, furniture are all top notch. The VIEW – OMG, it is so hard to describe…it is absolutely phenomenal! Like one of the other review said, “It looks like one long surfing movie. “ I saw turtles, tropical fish and even a pod of dolphins swim by. Needless to say, I loved the view. We forced ourselves every day to leave the lanai. When we went to the beach, no problem as there were beach chairs, an umbrella, boogie boards and coolers, everything you could possibly think of that you would need for a day at the beach, (and the chairs and umbrella were Tommy Bahama). The pool was clean and surprisingly warm. The view from the pool is like a photo taken for a post card. The parking garage is convenient and secure, the internet was great and hands down Candace should be given a gold medal for her kind genuine interest in making sure our vacation was everything we had hoped it would be. Mahalo Candace, our vacation exceeded our expectations! We will be back and will tell all our friends about your gorgeous condo in Kona. Mahalo nui loa Candace

Wonderful location

5 of 5
We stayed in this condo the month of Sep. The unit is nicely stocked with soap, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. We don't usually see this with VRBO condos. There are 4 swim noodles, 4 chairs, several soft and hard sided coolers in different sizes, beach towels, and many different size bags. The kitchen had plenty of items for cooking meals including a crock pot. Rooms very comfortable, tennis courts, pool and hot tub were nice. I used a swim noodle for the pool as it was mostly 6' deep. There are 3 grills centrally located near the pool you can use or even reserve. WIFI in the unit worked well on our Kindles however it would drop its connection at times. Lanai was nice size with 2 tables, 4 chairs and 2 loungers plus a drying rack. This location was perfect for seeing sights on the island. We did day trips to Kohala coastline, Pololu Valley, South Point, Hilo, Waipio Valley during our month stay. White Sands Beach is across the street but waves were too high for us. However, we did go to 2 step for snorkeling and Old Kona Airport Recreation Area for snorkeling and swimming in the keiki pools. Sep is a slow month on the island so there weren't many guests/owners at the condo complex, traffic was minimal, and restaurants didn't need reservations. If you can come in Sep, I highly recommend it.

Wonderful!

5 of 5
In addition to the review my girlfriend already posted below about our stay beginning Sept. 11, 2014, I wanted to add a few things that I found really fun/useful: - There's lots of very close parking and the unit is on the ground floor. Some of the condos in this development are on the third story, which would've bummed me out. With the parking and the ground floor, unloading luggage or throwing beach stuff in the car was super convenient. - There's an in-unit washer and dryer! Washing and folding all our laundry before we went home was a super awesome vacation hack. Plus, it's nice to dry beach towels or wash your swimwear if you feel gross. - The shower in the master bathroom is really cool. - The owners graciously provide fun beach stuff to borrow, like snorkeling gear, a boogie board, and some big beach towels. - Even though it was unseasonably hot/humid in Hawaii when we went, there are multiple ceiling fans in this condo, and with the front door open, there's a nice wind tunnel effect that kept us cool and sane. Overall this experience was awesome. It's one of the nicer experiences I've had with an apartment/condo rental. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
