My husband and I had a wonderful time staying in Kona at the condo resort. Bill and Bonnie were wonderful and very helpful when it came to activities on the island. We had a fabolus time and the best part about staying at the condo was that there was beautiful snorkeling steps away. We saw many turtles and hundreds of fish I would have to say it was the best snorkeling on the island right outside our front door. We can't wait to come back and next time we will we will be staying in the same place. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Perfect Hawaiian Retreat!

5 of 5
We had probably overly high expectations of the cabin before we landed, as the pictures looked great and Caroline seemed so nice, but we were still pretty blown away with how great our stay was! The cabin is better than the photos, the couches are big and comfy and the kitchen is really great for cooking. They have everything you need to feel at home, little things like salt and pepper and a little cooking oil being handy when you want to fry up the fresh eggs that they shared from their chickens. And the cool evenings and morning were everything we were hoping for after a long day of great snorkeling at the fantastic beaches. Caroline and Scott are great and really go out of their way to make sure you have a great stay on the Big island... can't wait to go back!

What a view!

5 of 5
SK Vacation Rental offers you simple elegance, convenience and comfort--and did we mention the awesome view of Kealekekua Bay?! Experience life on a working mac nut farm (yum!) in the beautiful rural ambience of South Kona. Awaken to the dawn chorus of myriad birds, and fall asleep to the gentle pattter of Kona's famous misty rain (where all that green comes from!). Your hosts Brad and Meris will do everything they can to make you comfortable. (And Brad can give you a lot of inside information on the history and sociology of South Kona). Co-hosts Blackie and Kai will be your best friends if you bring them the occasional biscuit. While in South Kona be sure to: (1) visit Pu'uhonua O Honaunau (Place of Refuge) and snorkel at Two-Step (Honaunau Beach), (2) rent a Kayak from Ehu & Kai's on the bay (follow the signs) and paddle to the Capt. Cook monument where you can beach the boat and snorkel (and if you are lucky, the dolphins will come swim with YOU), and (3) have a down-home Hawaiian-style dinner at the Manago Hotel (we recommend the famous pork chops).
