Thank you, Jeffrey and Heide. Great Host! Beautiful place. Peaceful, private and very welcoming. The kitchen was stocked with all the essentials to get our vacation started. The fresh local fruit, farm fresh eggs, homemade jams, homebaked bread (still warm), bottled water and local Kona coffee, was appreciated. The cabin has wireless internet and TV, so you won't be out of touch with everyday news. Our first day I filled a bowl with mac nuts from the trees on the property. The nut cracker in the kitchen took some practice, but we had fresh/raw mac nuts all week long. Our favorite was the local Dragon fruit. Thanks so much, Heide. Great place to stay if you don't want a condo vacation. Live like the locals, not like a tourist. The property is close to everything you will need. Lots of things to see and do in the area. Make sure you stop at the Coffee Shack for lunch and try the pie. Thanks again Jeffrey and Heide. (Steve and Arleen)

        KONA DREAM

        5 of 5
We had a fantastic stay in that cabin. All was exactly like on the pictures and even better. A lot of space, all was clean and lovely decorated. The owner was very friendly and showed and explained everything very nice. What a great experience for a special stay on Big Island. We would definitively stay again and highly recommend this location. Could not have been better. Would give 7 stars, really! So, thank you very much from Germany, you made us a great and unforgettable memory!!!

        A REAL GEM

This cabin is a gem! Secluded in the jungle, it is quaint, rustic, comfy, and absolutely delightful. We loved waking to sounds of tropical birds and the morning visit with a Kalij pheasant and his mate. The barbeque, lenai, deck, washer/dryer were icing on the cake. Scott and Caroline are perfect hosts with lots of helpful suggestions. We loved Kona, the snorkeling in the area is superb. We even saw whales from the beach! We would recommend this cabin with rave reviews - it was very hard to leave. We wish we could move the cabin to Montana!
