This little condo could not be more perfect. It had everything one could ever want for an effortless vacation to Kauai. The place was spotless, and well maintained. It was comfortably furnished, and included extras such as beach towels and beach chairs. Quick walk to the beach and restaurant. We had such a fantastic time on the island and the perfect location of this condo only added to the enjoyment. When booking this property the owner was prompt in returning calls and emails, and followed up with me just before my arrival date. I would reccomend this condo to anyone that is looking for the prefect location in Poipu. I know I'll be back!

My girlfriend (27) and I (32) took a two week tour of Maui and Kauai over new years, 2013-2014. We stayed in four different places, south and north shore Maui, and south and north shore Kauai, and this was by far our most favorite place to stay. First, Betty provided all of the necessary information to arrive safely late at night with no issues. We got in, got a good sleep, and woke up to an amazing sunrise right on the balcony the next morning! I don't think you can find a condo in Kauai that is closer to the ocean than Kuhio Shores. The condo has amazing light from the balcony and windows facing the ocean. Kuhio Shores is shaped like an L, and this condo is on the part that you want, facing the ocean directly to the south. We were pleasantly surprised by how nice all of the appliances were- granite counters, cable TV, and more. The bed was incredibly comfortable and you can definitely hear the ocean at night, though it's not directly next to the balcony. Waking up and eating breakfast and drinking coffee on the balcony was one of our favorite things to do. We saw turtles and whales right from our balcony. Further, the best snorkeling we saw in Kauai was right below us, in the water outside of Kuhio Shores. If you're considering staying in the south, keep in mind it's calm and perfect in the winter, I'm not sure about the summer. And of course, vice versa for the North shore. When we went to stay in the north shore, we were a bit spoiled with how good it was in the south in January. Either way, this place is a real gem, you can't go wrong. Book it early, and for longer than you think you need. You won't want to leave this place.
