Truly a paradise (and more)!

5 of 5
Denice and Drew's beach villa exceeds beyond our expectation. The inside of the property was immaculately clean while the outside areas were very well kept. Everything in this villa defines high end yet very pleasant for a family of 5 with young kids. The beds were comfortable and so was the over sized couch in the main living room. Since we didn't travel with a big group this time, I wanted a more secure place to stay and this residence met my expectation. To get through to the parking lot, to activate the elevators, to get in through the gates from the lagoons, and of course to get in the actual property, one must have the card key. I thought this was such a thorough way of keeping the place secured. There were days when we just sat at the balcony, stared at the horizon and just marveled at the beautiful and serene surrounding as we listened to the birds and the calming sounds of the water from the multiple ponds. Strolling on the paths near the lagoons and watching the beautiful sunset was definitely our most favorite activity at the end of the day. By the way, the lagoon for this property is definitely the best compared to the other lagoons (tested and approved)! My family and I will forever cherish the wonderful time we had at this beach villa. We are so glad to have found this place and to have Denice and Drew as our hosts. They were so gracious and thoughtful and it definitely made our stay even more memorable. We can't wait to come back! Esteves family

Love at First Site!

5 of 5
This was a retirement trip for my husband and I. We spent a week in Ohau and a week in Maui. It was our first Hawaiian vacation and the first time renting from VRBO. Both exceeded our expectations by far. Our journey began with the clear and concise communications from our hostess. She guided us through the process expertly and made us feel at ease as we traveled from Pennsylvania. She even arranged for a friendly hostess to show us around the condo, which was perfect; clean, well maintained, and furnished comfortably. We spent some time siteseeing as we went to Pearl Harbor, the Dole Plantation and the Paridise Cove Luau. I even went nearby for a massage and facial! Mostly we stayed at the Ko Olina Resort, enjoying the beach and the pools, dinning nearby and then ending the day with a nitecap at the local pool bar. It was the trip of a live time and we hope to come back!!

Great property and location, responsive managers!

5 of 5
We had a fantastic stay at Ko' Olina in this incredible 3 bedroom penthouse. Despite the threat of Hurricane Iselle and Julio looming, we had 8 luxurious and fantastic days in Oahu. I highly recommend the unit and the complex. I offer these comments not to in any way take away from this amazing property but just in the interest of full disclosure. The two lanais are awesome and offer sweeping views. It's important to note though that one of the lanais is on the same level as the mechanical equipment for the building. The view is quite nice and the mechanical equipment is not noisy but it's not so sightly. On the other hand, this lanai is very private so if you want to work on a topless tan you can especially in the early morning hours. The second lanai is awesome but not private, so definitely no nude sunbathing! We had a couple of issues during our stay--the cable didn't work for the first five days and the dryer was not getting hot. Joan and Ron were simply amazing. Responsive, helpful, and appropriately apologetic for the inconvenience. The folks at Ko O'ina were also incredible. Blayne was exuberant and helpful at check-in. Marci, the bartender at the beach-side bar was awesome!!!!!!! We loved dinner at Roys--best butter fish, and Monkey Pod (ate there twice). Also attended the luau at nearby Paradise Cove. We rented a car and drove around the island one early morning. Absolutely awesome, never to be forgotten experience at turtle beach in Laniakea. Then of course shaved ice at Matsumoto. Last comment for the owners--we went to dinner one evening at the Marriot hotel. It was the only rainy evening and so rather than walk back we took a shuttle bus that runs between all of the hotels/condos in the Ko' Olina complex except for where we stayed. Fortunately we were able to convince the driver to drop us off. Seems like a worthwhile expenditure since the bus literally passes by to drop people at the condominium past ours. Again, all of these comments are simply meant to offer more details about the property. We feel so fortunate to have been able to visit Oahu and our visit was made even better because we were able to stay in this awesome unit. Thank you!!!!!!!
