Very nice place, centrally located. Awesome pool.

The 5G Unit is newly renovated and very well equipped, furnished and decorated. It accommodated our family of 6 well. The condo complex is quite old, seems to have a mix of owner occupants as well as renters. The huge, clean, warm pool was never crowded. Now for the caveats: First, one of the three bedrooms is NOT air conditioned. During our stay, air temp in that room hovered around the high 80s. Not comfortable for sleeping. The advertising states "most rooms" air conditioned, but stops short of specifying one bedroom is hot. Next, the WiFi is slow DSL. Don't plan to stream movies or download large files. Finally, the "site manager" takes his job very seriously. We witnessed other guests' children being reprimanded for having snorkels in the pool. Why, I have no idea. We were also reprimanded for placing two towels over the backs of the deck chairs on our second floor deck to dry. I understand they don't want the place to look like a slum but two towels not on the railing but hanging over the back of a chair? Really? Overall, this was a nice place and a decent value, and if I could not find a fully air conditioned condo of similar configuration, I would return.

            Best Kept Secret in Maui!

            5 of 5
My family and I were lucky enough to stay at this oasis for a month this summer. This peaceful and lovely KOA property became our home away from home. It was the nicest VRBO property we have ever encountered--clean, comfortable, well-stocked, and so peaceful. The grounds are exceptionally beautiful and spacious--a nice change from many of the cramped highrises on the island. The pool was THE BEST! We had a hard time getting our kids out of it long enough to see the island! It is immaculate and large, with a hot tub and shuffleboard. Andrew and Phyllis (owners) went above and beyond to ensure an enjoyable and comfortable trip. The beds were more comfortable than ours at home, and there were plenty of bedrooms for everyone. The lanai (balcony) was lovely--perfect for a morning cup of coffee with the scent of plumeria in the morning and the cooling breezes in the afternoon. We loved the location in Kihei. We could walk one block to the beach and the Whale Sanctuary. We could drive to the grocery store, coffee shops, and stores in less than one minute. We found Kihei to be a wonderful central location for the island. It is easy to get anywhere on the island from Kihei, but it is not a place overwhelmed by tourists, which is what we were looking for. I highly recommend this property, and we hope to return ourselves in the future. Mahalo for the wonderful stay! Andrew and Phyllis had great suggestions for us--from the Lavender Farm upcountry to Haleakala to the best beaches to the Tropical Plantation. It made all the difference to us that we had such personalized

            Can't wait to come back!

            5 of 5
This unit has absolutely everything a person could ever need (even a rice cooker!) Beds were very comfortable and everything was just as stated in the description. Very clean and well maintained. Lots of Geocaching close by if you are so inclined as well! The kids were thrilled there were boogie boards and we were thrilled there were beach chairs. Will definitely be returning ;)
