RELAX

5 of 5
The vacation was wonderful. It was off to a great start by working with Tim and the again working with Cathi in Molokai. The condo was everything as advertised and the beaches wonderful! We are hoping for a repeat trip in March so we can watch the whales. We love Molokai because of the relaxed nature of the Island. This Condo was great. ( even had a sun hat)

A perfect spot

5 of 5
Every now and then, a place has the perfect combination for the traveler. This place was it for my wife and me. The condo is a one room open-air view of one of the best beach areas in Hawaii. There are plenty of screened windows to open on both sides. The sensation of leaving the door open and feeling constant ocean breeze by itself would put this condo at the top. It's like being on the beach without the sand or the need for sunscreen. The beach is a short hike away (drive down to the front and park if you have lots of stuff to carry). And, oh, what a beach. Dramatic rock formations all along the coast with short pieces of swimmable beach area. For much of the time, we were alone on the beach. The isolated feeling is wonderful. And the condo was one of the best stocked places I've ever been. Snorkeling gear hanging in the closet. Luxury REI folding beach chairs leaning against the wall on the porch. (Oh, and that porch is a good one. Sitting out there was a delight, especially since I could also catch up on e-mail with the wi-fi from next door.) Great bed. We just left the sliding doors to the porch open and enjoyed the night breeze. We even used the kitchen (just to heat up a pizza) but it had everything we needed. We have been to Maui, the Big Island, Kauai and Oahu. The all had amazing pluses and unusual places to stay. Even had great beaches. The North Shore on Oahu in particular has a lot to offer. But, I am telling you here and now that Molokai and this condo put it all together to make for a perfect beach vacation. I realize Molokai is not for everyone (and thank goodness for that). It is isolated. There aren't crowds of tourists. There are few places to eat and no luxury hotels to bring you a fancy mai tai. To get to the place, you have to fly or ferry from one of the other islands. And then you have to rent a car. But, I'm telling you, the payoff is worth it if you don't need a butler, a chef or a massage therapist to make your trip work. We will return. Thank you, Vicki, for a great spot.

Perfect spot for warmth & some R & R

5 of 5
My husband and I stayed 2 weeks in this relaxing spot on the west side of Molokai. The condo was clean & well-maintained and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The owners Susan & Ken live nearby and were great to answer any questions and quick to remedy some minor concerns. Enjoyed beautiful morning walks through closed golf course with great views of the ocean, and to beautiful mostly deserted beaches. Great pool & hot tub. If you like hustle and bustle and eating out lots, perhaps Molokai is not the place for you, but if you want to relax it is lovely. The complex is a bit of a drive from the main town, groceries, etc but with a little planning for things you need we were happy to mostly stay right here and hope to return sometime.
