Amazing

5 of 5
We enjoyed staying at this lovely cottage. It was clean, comfortable and the amenities provided are outstanding. Robert and Gudrun are the perfect hosts! They give you privacy but also make themselves available should you need anything. We enjoyed using the bbq and a hot tub after a relaxing day at the beach. Everything you could possibly need was provided, beach chairs, coolers, kayaks. We cannot wait to come back to this truly relaxing retreat!

Wonderful Place

5 of 5
We stayed in April 2013 and the place was wonderful. It was spotlessly clean and the layout was great. It is located on a quiet street a few blocks from the beach. Kailua has many properties right on the beach that limit access but there is a passage to the beach between houses that makes it easy to get there. Tricia was a very helpful host, and met us soon after we arrived. She helped us with suggestions as to what to see in the area. The property has very good ventilation, with nice breezes and provides lots of amenities. There are two good induction hotplates instead of a stove but they worked well, we did lots of cooking. The kitchen was well equipped and Tricia left us some local fruits and snacks before we checked in. It is an easy walk to shopping and restaurants also. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a much more laid back experience than Honolulu provides.

A little piece of heaven

5 of 5
I am really happy that I stumbled across this listing. I normally stay on the busy part of Kailua beach but decided to take the path less traveled this time around. Best decision I ever made when visiting Kailua. I was the only one one the beach the entire time. The place was gorgeous and exceeded my expectations!
