A Christmas to remember

5 of 5
For the first time in 35 years we decided to spend Christmas away from home, and we could not have picked a better place! The house was modern, beautiful, and set up perfectly for our family gathering of 7 adults. The view is spectacular and the fully outfitted kitchen had everything we needed for our Christmas dinner for 11 as we were joined by friends and relatives also on the island. We ate most of our meals at the house which is spacious and comfortable. The only downside of eating in as much as we did was that we were only able to experience a few of the great restaurants in the area. We really liked the Kaneohe/Kailua location as it was close to great beaches, hiking, and golf. And while we enjoyed visiting Honolulu and the North Shore areas, it was very nice to be able to come back to Kaneohe Bay to unwind and relax at the end of the day. Julie was great to work with and made sure that we had everything we needed for our stay.

A little piece of heaven

5 of 5
I am really happy that I stumbled across this listing. I normally stay on the busy part of Kailua beach but decided to take the path less traveled this time around. Best decision I ever made when visiting Kailua. I was the only one one the beach the entire time. The place was gorgeous and exceeded my expectations!

360 views, airy and beautiful

4 of 5
The first few days we didn't even use the car--and didn't need to, Hawaii views were all around us, the water, the mountains, the trees... the beach half a block down the street. In fact, you could get away without a rental car staying here as Kailua town is close enough to walk or bike to (maybe 10 blocks or less). My son found his own space in the "closet room" under the loft where he made himself comfortable. It also seems quieter than much of Kailua, just being up so high. The breeze blows through, cooling down a hot day. It's light and bright, a very happy place. You can sit on the balcony and gaze at the ocean and watch the kite surfers (you can do that from inside too). The studio has everything you need as far as the small kitchen goes. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the narrow spiral staircase (it's fine, but could be hard for older people) and the outdoor shower. We didn't mind showering there, it was kind of nice, but it's more convenient to have the shower in your room. We would definitely stay there again.
