It was a great Condo! We had been to all but this Island in HI. It was much hotter than the others and humid. But we still loved the Island! There's a small water feature on the grounds you can hear outside from the bedrooms, this was so nice it put me to sleep each night. The Condo had just been sold and the new owner was very accommodating. Our flight left late and since the cleaning crew and next reservation wasn't until the next day the owner let us stay till we had to leave at 7pm. We did promise to do all the laundry (linens and towels), which we did do. There was a minor glitch with the comforters, sheets, and pillows when we first got there. They were not clean so we took them to the coin laundromat, but that wasn't the owner's fault (that's the only reason I didn't give it a 5 star). There were several extra sheets and towels in the unit that were stored in bins in the master bedroom. And when we called the owner about it he was quite gracious and gave us a little discount. The grounds were beautiful and sunsets amazing. You will have to go out on the grass or pool area to see the sunset due to the set up of the condo, but that wasn't a problem. We could see the ocean well and saw dolphins every morning from the lanai, where we had breakfast daily. We swam in the pool which was great! It was a salt water pool and Jacuzzi I'm pretty sure, which was great! The only thing we wished is that the pool would have been open before 8am and closed later than 9:30pm. There's a small coffee shop on the premises which was nice. The kitchen supplies in the Condo were good. We did a lot of cooking. It had a blender and of course a coffee pot and all the necessities. The TV was large and had a good picture although we didn't watch much TV. The condo had 2 lawn chairs that were a little weak but sufficed, the beach umbrella was missing the lower part, but we just bought a couple of hand held ones at Wal Mart. There was also one in there storage. The Condo is close to several beaches, downtown, shopping, and several boating activities. We walked to town a couple of times. To the Luau at Kona Resort which was one of the best ones I've ever attended! The entertainment, food, and service was outstanding! The walk is about 1 mile. The Wi-Fi in the Condo was great. My husband had some work he had to do and never had any problems. We would stay there again it was great.
