We spent three wonderful weeks at A Hale Lani, which deserves its name 100%. We loved the peace, privacy, being able to pick fresh fruit daily, the amenities, quality of furnishing, the view...
Sitting up in bed at night and looking down at the lit-up town of Kona - through the large sliding doors - is one of innumerable memories.
A Hale Lani is in fact a giant "studio". Apart from cooking and sleeping we spent our time on the spacious lanai.
Consider a flight around the island (Cessna), well worth it to get a feel of the island. Don't miss a very well organised trip to Mauna Kea (with Forest&Trail), a visit to Volcano National Park and try the various beaches. Our favourite was Hapuna Beach, which never became crowded.
We thoroughly recommend A Hale Lani for a real get-away.
