FANTASTIC FAMILY VACATION

5 of 5
Two families stayed in this Turtle Bay Villa and it was absolutely perfect! Two identical master bedrooms plus two additional bedrooms for the kids allowed everyone to have nice accommodations and none of the "your room is better than mine" type jealousies that have happened to us at other rentals. The villa had everything we needed including beach chairs and beach toys which was a really nice surprise. We ate in for breakfast and lunch everyday and had everything we needed. Loved that it is a hop, skip and a jump over to the hotel and we visited there for snacks, shopping and dinner a couple of times. The villa is beautifully decorated with really good views of both the pool and the beach. Very quiet as well, we never heard any noise from our neighbors. We loved the sleepiness of the hotel after spending a day at the Disney Aulani hotel which was crowded and loud. Turtle Bay is beautiful and laid-back which is what we were looking for. Mike was quick to reply to any email request and very efficient in getting us settled and organized. Truly appreciated his directions from the airport in addition to his recommendations for sitters and surf instructors. Overall absolutely nothing to complain about - we all loved it!! Totally recommend a stay here to any family looking for a home to stay in while in Oahu.

NICE CONDO, GREAT LOCATION

5 of 5
Overall great experience with this rental. Patrick was very professional in promptly responding to any questions, and being available when we checked in late at night. I have a 4 and 7 year old and this condo was very family friendly. A heated pool (a rarity in my experience) sits right outside the door. The turtle bay resort is about 10 minute walk from the condo. We rented bikes for most of our trip which makes getting to the resort even easier. We had a few cruiser bikes, a kid bike and a kid carrier that we loaded with all the provided beach toys, cooler and my 4 year old each day. There are some cool beaches north and south of the resort if you are searching for some peace and quiet. There are plenty of good and reasonable priced food options north and south of Turtle Bay. We stocked up at foodland in Haleiwa (the place to shop if you want liquor). I was wondering how accessible the ocean would be in the winter on the north shore and was pleasantly surprised. There are plenty of big waves in the area but also sheltered bays where snorkeling and swimming are safe. I also got surf lessons for myself and my 7 year old son in Haleiwa where the waves were easy and forgiving for beginners. My son caught the first wave he attempted and many more. The condo has everything you need and we felt right at home. It was plenty cool with the breeze and the fans even for Alaskans.

IMPRESSIVE!

5 of 5
I don't usually write reviews but I was so blown away by how beautiful the villa was and the location was so convenient. It was right on the sand, there was a pool a few steps away along with a restaurant and hotel all within a short walking distance. THe North shore where all the surfers go was down the street and a place to go walking to see waterfalls. The inside of the villa was really clean (rather elegant) and everything you could need to keep it reasonably priced rather than going to a hotel. It's definitely the way to go. I usually stay in hotels but this did feel like a paradise home away from home. I would definitely stay there again. I've been to Hawaii several times and this was my favorite experience.
