Amazing Vacation Home

5 of 5
Rating Details: I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was spotless. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family spent an amazing 7 days at Mango Hale. The house and yard were well kept and beautiful. All of us felt right at home from the moment we got there until we had to leave. The property looked exactly like the photos. It was truly fantastic to get up to that view every morning. We all agreed that if there is a chance of staying in the area again, we will stay there. Manager responded on 10/14/2014: Aloha Betty, Thank you for taking the time to review Mango Hale. We are very happy to hear that you and your family enjoyed the properties location and all the amenities. We pride ourselves on our web site and accurately displaying our photos and the different amenities the are has to offer. Mahalo, Hawaii Beach Homes

Great Peaceful Location

4 of 5
This cottage was the perfect location for us to visit our daughter who lives and works in the Kahala area of Oahu. But after arrival we found that it was perfect for more than just its close proximity to our daughter! The Kahala Beach Park is less than a 5 minute walk. There are several public beach access points within a very short walk as well. The Kahala Resort and Spa is a 5 minute drive and we had a lovely Sunday brunch there as well as a beautiful full moon-lit dinner there. The Kahala area is great for launching out for various activities. We hiked up Diamond Head, hiked down to Diamond Head beach, drove to Waikiki for shopping and beach (although I prefer the nearly deserted and peaceful Kahala Beach), drove to the North Shores, and drove to and spent the day snorkeling in Hanauma Bay! There are several restaurants near The Kahala Mall but our favorite is the Olive Tree Cafe which we frequented often for dinner - even walking there one evening! The Cafe is BYOB so don't forget to take your favorite bottle of wine with you when you go! As for the cottage itself, it matched it's description online very well. It is perfect for 2 people; it does have 2 beds but space might be tight for more than 3 people. We had an issue with the solar water heater keeping the water hot, but I contacted the owner and he immediately had someone come fix it and it remained hot the rest of the week. The cottage is part of a larger property in which the main house is also a rental. The main home was being rented at the same time as us but the only time we saw or heard the other renters was when we were parking our car. The cottage is very private. I hope to return and visit our daughter again next year and will rent this cottage again and have recommended it to other family who plan to visit!

Oasis away from home!

4 of 5
We ENJOYED our stay at this home while having a mini reunion with friends. The home was more than we expected based on the description. The homeowner was there to greet us and made us feel very comfortable and welcome upon our arrival. The home was very clean and well maintained. The location of the home is perfect near local beaches, trails, and night life. We actually enjoyed running every morning the views were spectacular. We spent the majority of our time outside by the pool and had dinner several nights (BBQ's) on the lanai. The house is very spacious we had 6 adults stay at this home very comfortably. We plan on returning to this home in the future! We would recommend this home to our friends and family, in fact, we already have! We enjoyed hiking Diamond Head, walking to the beach that is just across the street, morning runs around the neighborhood, we dined in several times and shopped at a local Costco for food and drinks, Waikiki... everything is so close.
