Quiet place with everything you need....

5 of 5
My husband and I stayed at MKV, Maui Kaanipali Villas, for nine days bridging November and December. Everything we needed for simple living was in the unit. We didn't cook, because there was only the microwave, but enjoyed the convenience of "heat up" meals which we bought at the Safeway store about five miles away. We also enjoyed the coffee brewed in the lobby every morning. We were fortunate to have rented a car, and so getting around for food was easy. Some days we did not use the car, and took the free trolley to Whalers Village for a meal. But I would recommend a car. The unit is close to a lovely little pool with hot tub, and also the beach a five minute easy walk away. There is also a little grocery store in the complex, and Castaways, a restaurant we found just fine, and on the beach front. It is a beautiful, green, quiet place,...very restful. I used the week to get some writing done on the quiet shady patio.
