Fantastic year in Hawaii

5 of 5
My family and I spent nearly a year living in Hawaii Kai at Kokokai Palace. my wife and I have seven children and it was a challenge to find a home large enough to accommodate us. Kokokai Palace provided everything that we needed and more. During our year we had nearly 30 visitors and we were able to accommodate all of them with ease! We thoroughly enjoyed the home during our stay. The views are dramatic. Having the pool and courtyard integrated into the home was very convenient and allowed us to enjoy the tropical setting to the maximum. The meditation gazebo available to us was also special. It was a great place to sit and watch the sunset over Diamondhead. Now that we are back in Nebraska, suffering through frigid temperatures, we miss Kokokai Palace more than ever! We hope to visit Milan in Hawaii again. it is too bad that our responsibilities on the mainland keep us away. The Carlson family

Fantastic property!

5 of 5
Our family was looking for a house rental for a week-long stay in Ohau, and came across this property. My wife and I have 4 kids (all 8 years old and under) and we also brought a nanny, so we needed a place that could comfortably fit all of us. This house is a very spacious, single-floor residence that has room after room after room, decorated quite nicely and comfortably with many couches and high-end furnishings and electronics. The beds were extremely comfortable and each room had its own A/C control, which was very nice. It has a modern, open kitchen that was fully-stocked with dishes and utensils. The landscaping was lush, with many tropical flowers, giving that real tropical-paradise feel to it. The best part about this house -- what really makes it stand out -- is the pool. It's a large, fantastic pool, beautifully made, with several waterfalls and tiled in a gorgeous deep blue color. It runs about 30' long, and runs about 2 1/2 feet to 8 feet deep. Perfect for 4+ year-old kids. We used it every day, splashing about and having fun after sightseeing. The house is on a golf course and is located at the end of a cul-de-sac, so it's an extremely quiet and peaceful place to relax, away from the crowds of Waikiki and Honolulu. It's located right at the end of Highway H1, so it was quick and easy to get to all of the tourist attractions and various beaches. There's a Whole Foods about 3 minutes away. The property managers (Mike and Trieu) were wonderful and were very attentive to our needs and focused on customer service. They made sure that everything was just perfect for us. They are extremely professional and courteous. This house really made the trip for us. It was so relaxing to be in! We would DEFINITELY recommend this house to anyone staying in Oahu. 5 stars!!
