Peaceful studio out of the presure of Waikiki

5 of 5
We had a lovely 8 nights here at the end of January. Everything was in order, very clean and well maintained. Parking was easy, you probably want a rental car to get in and out and take advantage of the ease of access to the island with out the congestion of the Waikiki tourist scene. It's back in Paololo Valley, in a small sub-valley with a stream and about 8 other houses all energy efficient. There's lots of greenery and indeed breezes blowing in the trees and cooling at night, the songs of birds to wake to. It's cozy, with a platform bed with windows on 2 sides, a fold down futon, a kitchen and a nice bathroom. We would make breakfast there each morning. We shopped at the local market and a near by Whole Foods or went out to dinner in Kaimuki at some very fine restaurants. The beaches on the east end were available in about 20 minutes. Hawaii Kai also had some nice places to eat. The hosts: Mary and Cliff were never in our way and yet if we called, were always attentive and helpful. If you would like to visit Hawaii and have your own space, this is an excellent choice.

A wonderful vacation property

5 of 5
In our 20 years of wintering in Hawaii this has been among the top 3 places to stay. Best of all is the location. So handy to the beach and The Bus service for my wife who is having some mobility problems at present. The property itself is so well kept and nicely furnished. The kitchen is excellent as it is so well stocked with cooking and eating things. It was just like home. Mike was very good with us and anything brought to his attention was looked after well and quickly. And what a wonderful experience it is to take your meals on the lanai and admire the ocean view, or just sit out there and enjoy the beauty of Hawaii!! I have no hesitation in recommending this property to friends and relatives, and we just so sincerely hope we can get back again to enjoy what this property has to offer.
