Excellent Bang for your Buck

5 of 5
Dean and Sherri are very welcoming. This property is very well located near downtown Kailua-Kona. Parking spots are available, it is located on a safe neighborhood while providing access to all the downtown has fo offer. It is indeed a private room, so space is limited, but considering the budget we had and the type of people we are, it fitted really well with what we wanted, which was a clean, welcoming, safe, intimate, and accessible property. Do not hesitate to contact them for any question, they are open and welcoming.

Comfortable, Relaxing, Clean, & Overall Excellent!

5 of 5
My wife and I stayed here for a week in April 2015. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would highly recommend this nice studio to others! We weren't exactly sure what to expect, but based on the reviews and pictures we decided to book. Upon arrival to Kona, we were happy to find that the home was in a nice part of town and we felt safe. The studio apartment itself is a part of a home, in which the first floor is split into a studio and a one-bedroom apartment, whereas the upper floor is occupied by the owners, Mr. Henry and Mauricia. Of course there are separate entrances for each, and there is plenty of privacy for the guests. We were pleased to discover a washer and dryer on the property, as well as high-speed internet (13 mbp/s down). Overall, our first impressions were very positive! The weather was fantastic during our stay, and the interesting part is that there is no central heating or cooling as the weather here is so pleasant. We slept with the windows open and fans on, and we were absolutely comfortable. After a long day spent out, we couldn't be happier to return to the cozy apartment to relax. The furniture was pleasant, and the appliances were very nice. The fridge, microwave, oven, and stove were all in working order. Our bed was king-sized with nice clean sheets and plenty of soft pillows. The TV had more than enough channels to keep us happy. The best part of the apartment was definitely relaxing in the jacuzzi outside, which was always warm and ready to be enjoyed! Overall, if I could give this apartment SIX stars I would!! It certainly met and exceeded our expectations. We had a great time and would definitely recommend it to others! Thanks a million to Mr. Henry and Mauricia for being such hospitable hosts, you guys made this a vacation of a lifetime!
