Very nice and met our expectations.

4 of 5
Two couples stayed at this property in May 2014 for one week. Communication with the owner, booking and payment went smoothly with no issues. The location is near the Polynesian Cultural Center, about an hour from the airport. We really liked this area as it’s close to the North Shore and away from the busy downtown area. It is also close to a couple of grocery stores. There is noise from the traffic that you can hear from the bedroom closest to the street however, there are many houses that are close to the main road so I don’t think this is a negative. The house itself is in good shape and has a warm cottage feel. The kitchen, dining and living area is open concept and very large with two sliding doors to the backyard and another off the main bedroom. The kitchen had everything we needed and also having a washer and dryer was very convenient. There are air conditioners in the bedrooms but rarely used them as the ocean breeze was cool enough. The morning sunrises are amazing and it was nice to take a walk on the beach without having to drive to one. For sites, we recommend Waimea Bay for swimming (bring an umbrella) and the botanical gardens across the street, the North Shore for food trucks, Pupukea (Sharks’s Cove) for snorkeling. We also recommend Kualoa Ranch for the Jungle Expedition and Movie site tour but not the Legend and Legacy tour or the ATV’s (if you own one or have been on them before as you might find it boring and very hot). Overall, we liked this property for it’s quiet, beachfront, central location away from Honolulu and would recommend it to others who are looking for a relaxing vacation and like a cottage/beach town feel.

Beautiful Hawaiian Getaway

5 of 5
The house was truly cozy and comfortable! Tish was waiting for us as soon as we got there (even though we had missed one of our flights due to a delay on a previous connection). She is so warm and friendly! My friends and I could not have asked for a warmer welcoming even though we were exhausted! The house was spotless and exactly as the photos indicated. The artwork inside the house is beautiful and all by the owners! The house was easy to locate and in a friendly area. It has easy access to all the home amenities but with breathtaking views of Hawaii. You get to see the breathtaking sunrise off over the ocean of the deck each morning and when you go done to your car you see the mountains. Tish is available for any advice or questions that you may have. She has wonderful advice for food and shopping there on the North Shore. The house has easy access to the beaches, Polynesian Cultural Center and Dole Plantation to name a few. Bus service is close to the house if you would rather take the bus instead of driving. I would highly recommend this house and the owners for any stay in Oahu! They are truly wonderful and I can't wait to go back!!

NO KA OI (Is the best)

5 of 5
We were having a family reunion/birthday party on Oahu and rented this house and couldn't have been more pleased with our choice. Don't let the exterior fool you. It doesn't look like much when you pull on to the property, but once you open the doors - WOW! It's beautifully furnished and decorated, yet felt like I was walking into a family member's home instead of a rental. VERY comfortable and welcoming. The kitchen is perfect for entertaining. Beds were comfy and lots of extra pillows, blankets and floor mattresses for extra guests - the ones who loved the house and just couldn't leave! Fo da locals - not too much outdoor party area, but get da beach park across da street fo dat! Mahalo Jim for opening your home to our ohana! We'll be calling you!!
