Wonderful family home to enjoy the island

4 of 5
Wow - we had a fabulous time. We did start off with a few hicups however Lisa was great and worked through each. The home is as it appears - large, spacious, has all the comforts you need, clean and wonderful There were 8 adults and 2 children - we had lots of room and all had our own private space. Kitchen - has all you need (however note there are no pantry items, this you will need to get when you go grocery shopping) We hit Costco our first full day and also the nearby Foodland. The home is a great base camp. A car is needed however if you like adventures take the bus that is just outisde the gate and you can actually go fully around the isand as it is on the circle route. THe beach has great sand, there are nay beach toys for the kids to play with. Fishing for the adults is a great time. Did this everyday right off the beach or the yard when the tide is in. We did see turtles and some schools of fish. Life jackets and beach items for those days away to venture other fabulous beaches the island has to offer. Will recommend this home to all - great for small groups or large - private and the yard being in a gated area is very safe for the little ones. Oh - I would recommend a GPS - would make the adventures around the island a bit better however getting lost is fun too - you see more than you would falling the rules lol. Book and have fun,

awesome vacation!

5 of 5
We just finished our week long vacation and cannot say enough good things about our stay! We arrived extremely late on a Sunday night and we were greeted by friendly, helpful security staff who helped us to our parking spot and unit. Once we got inside we were pleased with the condition of the condo. Certainly not huge but far superior to a hotel room. Everything was clean and well stocked. We were able to cook meals easily with the supplies on hand. The beach front access is what makes this place priceless! Waking up to the sound of the waves and the amazing view was amazing. The private patio is literally 30-40 ft from the sand. Most days we had the beach all to ourselves so it felt like a private beach. It was peaceful and quiet the entire week. We loved every minute of it! We plan on coming back!

Our Family's Favorite Place

5 of 5
This was our second time back to Hale Moana Mele, and I can assure you, this place just gets better each time. It’s hard to put into words how stunningly beautiful the surrounding areas are. The glistening clear water outside your doorstep meeting the emerald landscape of the mountains of the Hau’ula Loop Trail in the background is an awe-inspiring view. This place has an ethereal quality that is hard to define, but unforgettable. The house itself is wonderful. Our family of 5 had more than enough space to spread out and feel at home. It’s hard not to love the home, as the views are incredible from practically every room. To look out of your bedroom window and see endless ocean is an unbelievable sight. The kitchen is well stocked with pans, dishes, knives, etc. Our “foodie” family had no problem making any meal that popped up in our heads with the supplies provided in the kitchen. We often drove down the street to some of the nearby fruit stands and bought some of the juiciest golden pineapple I have ever tried. With all the beautiful local produce so easily accessible, it’s hard not to be inspired by these ingredients to make a wonderful meal. (However, there were times that we wanted to go out and grab some local dishes…Papa Ole’s was great. Order the Kalbi Ribs). We ate nearly every meal outside under the patio and we enjoyed every minute of it. The backyard is a perfect family setting. The lawn is perfect for laying out or for a quick soccer or volleyball game. But the crown jewel of the backyard is obviously the beach. This beach is idyllic. You practically have the entire thing to yourself. The water was always warm, always clear, and always welcoming. The gentle waves were perfect for swimming, floating around in our bright pink inflatable donuts, or even kayaking (we rented kayaks from nearby store). Needless to say, we spent most of our time in the water. We even saw some sea turtles while floating around! Also, if you take a three minute walk down the beach, there is a little cove that is perfect for snorkeling. We saw brightly colored fish, coral and beautiful shells. There was really no need to leave the house. Overall, there’s nothing I could really say that would explain the unbelievable beauty that surrounds the home. The stunningly green mountains and brilliantly blue ocean of various hues comprise an idyllic wonderland perfect for a tropical family getaway. We're already planning our third trip.
