An ideal north shore house!

5 of 5
The Hanalei was totally equipped with everything we needed for our visit to Kauai. The house is amazing - much more spacious than the photos we saw on the website and perfect for 3 couples. Hanalei Bay is just two blocks away and, though the house is on the main road, it is set back by the driveway and plantings so we never heard traffic. It was a treat viewing the mountains every time we were at the sink or making coffee. It is a short walk to Hanalei town for coffee or daily groceries, if you prefer walking to driving the short half mile. The Na Pali coast and the best beaches in all the Hawaiian islands are short drives away. We highly recommend it and hope someday to be able to rent it again!

Beach plus mountains equals awesome.

5 of 5
The beach was perfect! The mountains and waterfall were awesome! We were here to celebrate our 35th and my parents 60th wedding anniversaries. The house was easy for our family to use with one in a wheelchair and another using walker. If one famous singer had come here first, he would have "left his heart in" ... Hanalei and not San Francisco. Thanks for sharing your property with us - many lasting memories will go home with us - along with hundreds of photos! Dad said after staying at other places on the island, when we return, it will be here in Hanalei on the Bay in the Keone Beach House. We all agree. The location can't be beat. The photos in the listing were accurate. The property was clean and well maintained. Complete with a welcome basket with snacks, juices and coffee. The owner was helpful before, during and after our stay. We would definitely recommend this property to friends and relatives. As far as activities and attractions to recommend, they are too numerous to list but here are a few general ones: the scenic lookouts, the drive to the end of the road, snorkeling, beaches, shopping opportunities in Hanalei and nearby Princeville, meeting the locals, the artists, the music, and that was just the start of our vacation.
