My girlfriend and I had the most incredible time staying at this condo. We really didn't know exactly what to expect staying on North Shore in such a small town before we got there. Now we know there's no better way to have an incredible beach experience coupled with the enjoyment of island life.
What really made enjoying our time in Oahu easy was this condo. Jill's attention to detail in making you feel comfortable and relaxed is better than any hotel I've ever stayed at. The rooms are all wonderfully decorative to suit the island feel and full of comfortable and clean furniture furnishings. The amenities offered are everything you'll ever need and plenty of things you didn't know you'd need. We were honestly shocked by how nice it was and how welcoming the atmosphere of the rooms were. But for us the best part about the rental was just out back of the building.
Only a few footsteps around the building was a great beach setting. Away from all the hustle of the cities, we sometimes were the only ones sitting on this relaxing beach which couldn't have been more of what we wanted. And thanks to Jill's thoughtfulness on how what vacation goers will need, we had plenty of beach amenities available for our use. Also, if you've ever been interested in trying snorkeling, you will not believe what is just a few yards off the beach. A reef full of coral, colorful fish, and not to mention sea turtles are within easy reach for even a beginner snorkeler. Not only did we swim with sea turtles daily, a Monk Seal decided to join us in the reef one afternoon! It was absolutely incredible so keep your Go Pro cameras handy here. The outer reef calms the seas so the inner reef is easy to swim around and since Jill has the equipment ready for you when you arrive, it's an absolute must!
Haleiva is also a great launch point for exploring the island if you'd like. Really the town has everything you'd ever need but the North Shore has many great surprises for those interested in looking. The condo has a binder with great suggestions on things to do and places to eat in the area.
Ted's Bakery off Sunset beach is a must! Don't be looking for any high society Starbucks kind of a place because that's not what you get at Ted's. But the pie is incredible! Also notable was Gioanni's, Dat Cajun Guy, Seven Brother's, Matsumoto's, Kono's (breakfast), Cholo's (frozen margaritas), and the farmers market on the far north end of North Shore for fresh pinea
