Great Northshore Location

5 of 5
This house offered our group a great location for the adults and children to enjoy all the amenities of the North Shore within walking distance. Haleiwa only ten minutes away by car, the same for Turtle Bay. The location could not have been better for walking down to the food wagons for a late bit to eat before ending another perfect day. The house was clean and offered all the amenities we were looking for, grill on the roof top pouch was perfect for flipping a steak while watching the waves crash. The owner of the property did reach out to us just to let us know if we needed anything we could contact them. This house is ideal if you have a group anywhere between 2 to 8, as it offers a lot of space and personal privacy if needed. This house is a must rent!

Heidi & Chris Lessick ~ Oregon City, Oregon

5 of 5
We had the most amazing time here! The lodge was the greatest place to come home to after our sight seeing adventures during the day. The view from the upper deck was the best! We hope to make it back sometime in the future. Everything was so wonderful about this location~ a short walk to the beach, short bike ride (thanks for providing the bikes and snorkel gear, Meleana!) or drive to Shark's Cove snorkeling beach and FOOD carts! We loved the cart at the bottom of the road leading to the lodge that sells acai berry bowls, yum! The farmers market on Saturdays at Sunset Grade School (right next door!) and the Thursday Waimea Valley Farmer's Market (10 minute drive) are not to be missed. We felt very much a part of the community on this trip and enjoyed being part of the north shore culture! Just 15 minutes east is the awesome town of Haleiwa known for it's shopping, shave ice, fishing, surfing and food carts. We loved the Beet Box Cafe which is located inside of the Celestial Natural Foods Store- which is awesome, too. Thanks to Meleana- we had fresh, awesome veggies and fruit to partake of during our stay from the farm located right below the lodge. If you are a health foodie, this is the place for you! On behalf of the 11 family members that stayed in the lodge for two weeks, we thank Meleana and the farm crew for an amazing stay.
